It’s crazy how she has a whole story here, it’s like a diary without context. I wonder what happened with Dave and Aaron. Also, I wonder about her backstory of being sent to boarding school by her mother. Seems like her mom did a lot to spite and shame her. Hope to hear her full story someday.

this mentality is why things stay hidden, she’s clearly evoking some message, nothing wrong about deciphering it. If you don’t like topics about rape and the Harvey Weinstein scandal then get off the internet.

I saw a tiktok referring the lyrics “If I told you that I was raped, do you really think that anybody would think I didn't ask for it?

to her experience with Harvey Weinstein. Or maybe she’s referring to someone else, but it made me see this song as way more personal and revealing than I initially thought. 

So could we get some slutty music with this manifestation or????

This song really shows a more vulnerable side to Lana (which isn’t unusual) but I feel like it describes the pain of loneliness even when you have people who love you. People crave pure connection and intimacy, more than a friendship. But friends make it easier to get by. 

So their new song “Her Body” has me obsessed. Idk if anyone else here has the same thoughts or maybe I’m late to the party. I’m playing the song and video on repeat. Gabi is amazing, she is iconic, I’m now waiting for her to blow up cause she has that Lana vibe but she knows how to move. She looks and sounds amazing, I just can’t get enough. I’m also loving their little docu series on Netflix. It’s really fun to see 4 random chicks come together and make music while Charli xcx makes cameos. Anyway, I suggest watching this if you want a new Lana-like obsession.

I was wrong, this album is amazing, I always say I hate the album then I love it after a week. But can’t wait for the new album 

I thought she wasn’t gonna post for awhile, I think she’s a Gemini again...

Just my opinion as an old Lanaboard member at this point but this album is boring. The most Lana song is Tulsa Jesus Freak, but it’s sad that she let go of the Lana magic on other songs. Very mature and non controversial, but I don’t think I like that. 
 

TJF  (also DBJAG/Yosemite??) still makes the album worth it, but idk if I’ll be listening to the other songs as much.  Signing off
