Wow, I'm high key disappointed that we still don't have Honeymoon in HQ. Does that mean the date for Music To Watch is also fake? yikes.

 

For those who have heard Honeymoon on Beats 1 you guys know what I am talking about. There is a stark difference. I'm going to list them here:

 

- The strings at the beginning the of the song is knife SHARP on Beats 1 PIERCING.

- Her voice on "We Both KNOW' also sounds different.

- There's a soft layering effect on the song. It's missing on YT.

- Most importantly, right before the chorus there's a thunderous BOOM sound drop thing before she goes "OUR Honeymoon" similar to Young and Beautiful.

- The dun dun dun sound on the bridge is much louder in HQ

 

That is all I can recollect from my experience listening to Honeymoon in Beats 1 HQ.

Well, getting back to the point of Honeymoon, is anyone else going to have a complete listen-through of Lana's music before the record drops? I did that before UV came out and I did it for Marina before FROOT released. I'm definitely listening through AKA, BTD+P, and UV before.

BTD is far more interesting. Has a beautifully written and worded chorus, unlike HM's lazily written chorus of the title repeated over and over again

Choruses on BTD are significantly better than those on UV and HM song. She's gotten so lazy with the repetition and choruses

^^^ agreed, you can tell that "our honeymoon" repeated four times is NOT gonna be an epic chorus. So much of UV was repetitive like that with just the title repeated four times, considered a "chorus." I mean, UV had great verse melodies and some great choruses, but overall... Ultraviolence, Sad Girl, PWYC, FMWUTTT, and bonus tracks...all so repetitive.
