I would strongly encourage everyone to listen to this interview ahead of the anniversary. She's super open about the inspiration for the album.

Really interesting piece of information where she says her and Dan Auerbach met at The Riviera Gentleman's Club in Queens. I'd never read this before and there's nothing on Google?!?!

Holy shit as I'm typing this I realise the "Riviera girls" lyric in Ultraviolence and Fucked My Way To The Top is a reference to the dancers at this club

I'm so glad she is back in full force. This was magical. The scratching weaving throughout and these new arrangements of the songs are all so Whoa, Nelly!fied. I think this sound will have a big comeback soon.

Yeah I hated her vocal choices on this one for so long but now find myself listening very often.

The hard exhale on "stars in my HHeyes" always makes me laugh tho.

Ah well I guess she wasn't lying, the fact is she probably wasn't asked and she did this off her own back and presented it to them. Like when she randomly emailed the producers of that Daniel Johnston doc her cover of Some Things Last a Long Time. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take

That video is very fun. Has the audio been pitched down? Her speaking Voice sounds lower and she seems more eccentric than usual 

That was a really fun interview. I loved the anecdote about the green contact lenses. Not someone finally asking about the album only to leave us in more uncertainty than before

Omg 13 years later I'm just noticing the parallels between the Q dress and the iconic Video Games look with the yellow and black stripes 

On a side note has lanascloset ever tried to find this shirt/bumble bee costume/whatever it is. It would be kid of a big deal.

Pretty unremarkable screenshot that's been sitting on my desktop for a while I found from searching Lizzy Grant on LinkedIn

Wiredset were involved in marketing the Kill Kill EP (Only thing that pops into my head is them uploading the Kill Kill video to dailymotion  and I'm guessing the press release/artist bio etc).

Would be fun if somebody could get him to talk. I sent him a LinkedIn message last year and it was never seen.
