you know, at first i thought it was the weakest. and most underwhelming. but oh my god one day i put it on and the lyrics hit me, and then when the chorus hits and its just that like staticky punch and it goes off like omg its so GREAT. and then when the second verse starts the lyrics get even better and the sounds all blend together and she only does 2 verses and 2 choruses but thats what MAKES the song. like wow she really was doing something with this song. i do think its the best

i just wanna say that Take A Hint from Victorious has the same energy as Taxi.

im just gonna say im completely blown away by how good the netflix show is. like oh my god i will admit that i was so annoyed at Charli for constantly promoting the heck out of Nasty Cherry when we knew absolutely nothing about them and then going from that to their weird try-hard social media presence it was very off-putting, but then when Win came out i was like ok i can vibe with this song, but after that i was just kinda like whatever. i didnt follow up with any of their releases until Music With Your Dad and then i was like ok this is a HIT. and legit then all of a sudden Charli’s like yeah theres a show about how i put the band together and i actually took the time to watch it and i LOVED it. like each member of the band changed my view of the band as a whole, like i totally thought Gabriette was gonna be a psychotic wannabe goth emo stuck up model who got good with a microphone but her STORY and her mom and how SWEET she is to literally everybody like i was so shocked at how her social media presence is opposite from her personality, although her style never changes. Chloe i expected to be the one who had all the problems because she just seems wild and problematic but i FELT it when she left and i was like bro its not gonna be the same without her. and the other two i thought were extras like nobodys at first but my favorite member is Debbie because she’s hilarious and so relatable and she has the best attitude out of all of them, and Georgia is like the most opinionated but she has a strong personality and the best thing she said was that she knows when to be quiet when in a group and i just wanted to say that i see Nasty Cherry as a whole in a completely different light and i definitely appreciate Charli giving this much time and effort into this because it paid off and their music is really good and im excited to support whatever they decide to put out from here on out

so update: the guy said his favorite and the best song was “Clarity.” and he said the runner up was Shinin’ and i mean...im not mad....but i asked if he liked Personal Hell and he said it scared him so. idk. but he said he doesnt like pop too much but he said he was going to do a second listen just for me cuz he wants to digest the album better. moral of the story: its officially known that my coworkers have taste

ok so far the girl coworker said she loved Clarity. She said Personal Hell sounds like Britney Spears and Melanie Martinez(??????), and then that Meet the Parents, All I Do Is Cry and Icy were her favs. i asked her if she listened to Do Me and she said no and i was like out of that entire thing the one song you DIDNT listen to was Do Me? and she was like i’ll listen later. so yeah. now im waiting on the guy coworker and he’s straight so this should be interesting. not expecting much more than a “it’s aight” or “its not for me bro” but hey you never know. i just recommended Clarity the album to two of my coworkers, and i told them that they were going to love it and they said they would listen tonight and they would give me a review tomorrow. lets hope these locals have taste.

im gonna say it. Meet the Parents is one of the best songs on Clarity. idc that the lyrics are simple its one of the most fun songs to sing along to and the beat is infectious and the BEAAACHHHH! at the end? her mind! and thats that on that

tbh in my mind i pictured a video idea for TOTL as the first song being o m e n like her coming up from a grave and then Close Your Eyes where she’s coming out of the graveyard and all of these zombies and dead people join her and then TRANSylvania where they are all doing a choreographed dance. like imagine how iconic that would be. and then she continues walking and at the end of TRANSylvania where shes knocking on the door Kim could be coming to a halloween party and then she does TOTL the song and the party is bumpin and then Elvira comes out of nowhere in like fog and stuff at the party and the video closes with her and Kim dancing to the rest of the song with all the other people in the house party. my MIND omg.
