  1. I wish it was longer, but I guess that's just what makes it more repeatable. I hope we have a bunch of long songs to get lost in on the album, though. Knowing Lana, this will probably be the most single-friendly song on it.
  2. The song is very Angelina-Jolie-hugging-african-child.gif.
  3. 1. Let Me Love You Like A Woman 2. Chemtrails Over the Country Club 3. Grenadine Quarantine 4. Waitress / White Dress 5. October's Over 6. Dealer 7. Where Fires Blaze Forever 8. Comes And Goes In Waves 9. Tulsa Jesus Freak 10. It Was Always Going to End This Way 11. Written In Cement 12. Ocean Beach 13. If This Is The End... I Want A Boyfriend 14. Midnight on Route 20
  4. In no order: - Venice Bitch - West Coast - Ride - Salvatore - Honeymoon - Summer Bummer - Summertime Sadness - Pawn Shop Blues - Shades Of Cool - Brooklyn Baby - Terrence Loves You - The Greatest - Bel Air - A Star For Nick - Some Things Last A Long Time - Angels Forever, Forever Angels - National Anthem - Tomorrow Never Came - Off to the Races - Happiness is a Butterfly - Groupie Love - High By The Beach - Fuck It I Love You - Art Deco - Yayo (AKA)
  5. The most offensive thing she's done lately to me is tweet about football.
  6. The way this is easily her messiest, most chaotic era and we haven't even heard a full song yet. Blackout era confirmed.
  7. For me, they all pretty much match when they were released: Born To Die feels very wintery, ice cold, and pretty - December or January. Paradise feels... June, oddly. Ultraviolence - hot, sweltering summer - July Honeymoon - summer's ending, air is cooling, days are getting shorter - September, for sure. Lust For Life - late spring, start of summer - May Norman Fucking Rockwell! - still summer, but you know it's ending - August Chemtrails Over The Country Club - the start of fall, a comforting transition - Late September/Early October
  8. That said, if Chemtrails turns out to be as eccentric/spicy as she's made it sound - combined with the interviews/statements from this year, I don't think the mental health talk will be going away any time soon.
  9. Look, I think we can all agree Lana is... eccentric to say the least, but to use possible mental health issues against her & being "sick of her shit"? That's where it becomes less of a discussion and more of a weird personal takedown. If she bugs you so much for being how she's ALWAYS been, you being on this forum says more about YOUR issues.
  10. The way some of you were talking about Lana a few pages back is honestly disgusting. It's one thing to discuss her personality, but if you no longer "have time for her shit" or whatever, why the fuck are you still here? Go.
  11. The problem with Lana is that she doesn't apologize. She doesn't see why people are upset about that stupid IG post, and if she is, she's unwilling to apologize for it. Part of me respects her for that, because she stands in her mess, and if she feels she was completely misinterpreted, she has the right to feel that way. That said, it's probably going to impact her critically for a while, Chemtrails included. Don't be surprised if we get more mixed reviews this year because of all this dumb drama, unless she addresses it thoroughly in the album.
  12. I don't know why they won't just put the whole thing on Spotify. I want to stream the shit out of it.
  13. Sorry to sound slightly hyperbolic, but this poetry album genuinely captures Lana's essence to me. I think all of her albums are TRUE to her in some way, but I really... hear her in this one. The weirdness of her personality is allowed to fully shine through that we once heard in some of her earlier, unreleased work. Don't get me wrong, compared to all the other girls out there, everything Lana does is weird, but the actual, real eccentricity of her personality is on display here. Paired with the slightly ominous, atmospheric background music... Not everyone's going to love it or get it, but they're not who it was made for. It truly is an incredible piece of work, and I hope she continues to give zero fucks with Chemtrails, because uncompromising Lana is where it's at.
  14. Violet is amazing. It's so genuinely weird. No other girl is doing shit like this, or would ever have the freedom to. I hope she continues down this rabbit hole with Chemtrails. I want Lana and Jack to let their freak flags fly.
  15. I don't think NFR was that safe. Venice Bitch in general, a 10 minute song as Track 3? Calling the album Norman Fucking Rockwell? The lyrics to Fuck It I Love You? I understand that sonically it's a little more loose and relaxed with not as many dramatic moments, but if you think Lana is safe I can't imagine how boring other artists are in comparison. That said, I do want her to get completely unhinged on Chemtrails. I want her to be as raw and experimental as she can. She's already in hot water with all the morons on Twitter, she might as well say "Fuck it" and really do what she wants to do.
  16. Couldn't that just be a double-disc audiobook (NOT the Jack Antonoff 14 track version)? There's over 30 poems.
  17. If they can't specifically say where the code is found, it's just a fake gay wasting their "life" away. Anyone can look up source code.
  18. I received a confirmation email for the cream vinyl, I checked my account on the store & it's still active. You should be good? Do we really think Chemtrails is coming in September? I guess it's still possible. Maybe she'll wait a week or two before launching it. A lot of dorks on the internet are still salty about her IG stuff so I'm a little nervous.
  19. The cream webstore exclusive is gone now. I already ordered it, though, so IDK what's going on.
  20. I don't know about you all, but I'm totally IN for an album full of Burnt Nortons. I ordered the webstore exclusive Cream variant so far, will hold out for more info on the others.
  21.
