At one of her 2017 shows, post haircut. I remember she had the diamond choker & the black shirt/blue jeans n was sitting down

It was at the terminal 5 show. Day 1.
Everyone around me almost died when queen Elizabeth spilled it on us. I will never forget that moment
So weird to look back at this and watch it now. Could that have been why she was being so coy and dragging her feet about performing the song. Was she waiting for the okay in her ear piece. I noticed her toying with it. Lol it was funny when she was like, “how does it sound or go.” She knew lol!
Sorry to quote you all, but I wanted to say thank you guys! I had never seen this, what a cute performance. I love how the audience were singing the "out of the black!" and "into the blue!" ad libs lol.

I think she took it out because of all the bad press she got about glamorizing death. Although in the songs she’s obviously just paying tribute, but she was probably wary of the press taking it the wrong way and taking away from the message of the song.
I’m so so so glad she let us know though, it makes it such a special song
When did she say it was Amy and Whitney? I had no idea! It makes it so special, but I also like how she omitted their names, as it sort of makes it so anyone can personalise the song.

Okay but like does anyone have an idea of what the potential outcome will be? Like yeah the melody is similar, but that's it, so I don't really see how Radiohead has a case? Just kind of confused.
Because there is the similarity in the pre-chorus which won't go unnoticed, she'll probably have to give up some publishing if that's what they're after, but I can't imagine it'll be anywhere near 100% (even 40% would generous!). Other solutions could be crediting them as songwriters and therefore they'd receive some royalties from the song, paying some sort of agreed financial settlement or even removing the song from online platforms and future physical pressings.

Still haven’t watched it yet so idk how it compares to the book. I did see an interview with the director who said the original first edit was close to 4 hours long but of course that was too long and they had to edit it down more. So maybe some of those lost 2 hours pertain to their time in Rome. I’m sure they’ll eventually release a directors cut with some of the deleted scenes!
I wanna watch it so bad but am trying to hold out for the theater. If somebody wants to link me up though feel free! I may give in to my temptation lol!
Excited for the sequel if they stick with the original ending in the book. It’d be nice to see that time in between though.
I only just saw this. Omg. We need a director's cut!

Great film, so understated and not as gloomy as a lot of LGBT films (although the end is quite bittersweet!). The soundtrack is beautiful too. The Sufjan Stevens songs make me melt. I really want to read the book. I'll get it for my kindle and read it when I'm off from work in January.

Is POM DVD planned for release or we're stuck with LQ videos?
There seemed to be plans some time last year, Planet Hollywood replied to someone on Twitter to say it was being recorded for release, but it doesn't look likely anymore.

Preview of the Gone remix due out 15th December: https://www.traxsource.com/track/4954494/gone-iamamiwhoami-remix
It's a little bit messy, but I love the inclusion of the "the-the-the trouble a-a-a-about you" part that was so popular from the original prelude and they've re-purposed some old instrumental music they used in an announcement video and during the 2010 concert in the forest.
-
I think Gone is my favourite song, but Simmer Down is the one I find stuck in my head most, especially the "I still have fire, simmer down, simmer down" part.
-
Very excited for the iamamiwhoami remix! It'll be interesting to see what Joanna and Claes do with the song together. I'm hoping the prelude samples are a little more pronounced and obvious, and that they include the stuttery vocals from the start of the prelude somehow.

someone call me when her album is released, I love this woman but can't keep up with these songs so I'm just waiting until te whole record is out
There's only 4 songs so far, so check them out!
Chances are she might release another one between now and February before the album drops, but that's only a guess because it's a long time between now and then.

It's her best album.
I could do without the 3 interludes - they don't really suit the album, and ruin the flow, and almost feel like an after thought to ensure the political message is served.

She's planning a tour from September 2018 for a year, it'll be some kind of festival involving Imogen and Frou Frou, plus other guests/events. She's currently asking fans to pre-register for "VIP/Enabler" tickets, and regular tickets will become available once it's organised.
-
The new album is ok, but I don't think it's as good as 1989 nor will it have the longevity of that record.
-
No its not
iamamiwhoami = both collab in a mutual way
memento = ionna wrote and produced the song, claes just sings (or prob also co wrote)
I know, it was just a silly remark based on the fact it's Jonna and Claes together.
I was hoping a Royksopp collaboration might appear. She was a brilliant guest vocalist on their tour, so I hope they still have a chance to work together and do something in the future.
-
I don't imagine any of the other preludes will be reworked, unless she reuses the instrumentals somehow, but I don't think the remaining instrumentals really suit what she has released so far as they're all very ethereal and calm.
I'm looking forward to the collaborations, as that's something she hasn't done before, although featuring Barbelle is basically like calling it an iamamiwhoami song lol.
-
So excited for Everyone Afraid To Be Forgotten, and Gone is so good!
I imagine one of the collaborations might be Royksopp as she's been touring with them over the summer.
-
I know, it's so weird to have a release without a video!
I wonder if she's going to release "Gone" without one, then release the rest of the album and visual together later on.

I've loved the one off songs she's released over the past couple of years - Tiny Human and Magic Me. She also has a song with Dan Black called We Drift On which is great.
Looks like she's planning a tour for 2018.

New single "Gone" will be released Friday - here's a snippet people who've followed from the start will enjoy

It's a shame about Yosemite, Architecture and Roses Bloom For You, but she seemed to suggest that they'll "find their place" again. Maybe she'll go back to them for the next record, or there'll be an EP.
