I agree and really hate all this billboard stuff. I really don’t understand why she doesn’t just release all of the acoustics on one cd (after the original album so it still counts as the same album for it to still count on billboard) like surely more people would buy the album if they were all on one cd? right now only a small really dedicated rich portion of her fanbase can afford to buy all these acoustic versions on separate albums. like I’ve said before it’s just going to make her next album cycle worse cause she just has to keep breaking records so she, and everyone else doing this, is just shooting themselves in the foot by playing this stupid game

that’s fair, she said she wanted to release a ‘massive amount of material’ that didn’t make it onto the album so I was wondering is she was going to string it out to poke fun in a bratty way. maybe she will just drop the password to her google drive

i do really want a remix album but i’m worried she’ll load it with unnecessary features that will ruin the remixes, so I’m going to need her to drop a solo remix album and a feature remix album

has she said anything about dropping merch? it seems like a missed opportunity not to sell literally anything with green on it considering people are making their own brat shirts rn, I probably wouldn't buy a shirt but maybe a key ring or something

I don't think girl, so confusing is about one specific person, and charli said this recently: so whilst there are direct references to lorde, like the hair line and q&a where charli said lorde asked to make music together and it's never happened, I think it's still valid that some people think it's about marina too (and some lines made me think of marina)

grimes 🤝 marina repeatedly saying they don’t like the traditional album rollout and want to just release songs ‘whenever’ but never actually doing that. (I know they’ve both been through a lot in their personal lives and I hate when people ignore that and act entitled, but at the same time please stop teasing music when nothing is actually on the table😭)

I mean she was delusional enough to tease it in the speed drive music video in the most intrusive way possible… imo the song would have been better received had she not used the most generic mainstream production for it, she only sings 6 words in ‘yes no okay’ and it’s much more interesting to listen to than the snoozefest of in the city. but maybe we should let the in the city discourse be.

oh I hope she makes the full diary into a book like aurora did for her last album…

i hope she gets better soon but i'll never get over her going to (and hosting) all those pool parties in 2021 and getting covid several times (i did wonder if her chronic fatigue was linked to long covid tbh) also marina and lana could have fallen out privately at any point, but since unfollowing each other would cause 'drama' maybe marina waited then saw qftc as an 'excuse' to unfollow her idk

I'm glad she didn't go with 'desire' as the album title, 'I WANT - CHARLI XCX' would have been pretty iconic with the von dutch/360 theme of obsession though. (edit: forgot to mention that I think brat is the best out of all the 3)

I think she meant specifically when they release a version with a new song so you 'have' to buy each vinyl to get all the songs on vinyl (if you're into that) but it's still lowkey embarrassing.

to me it feels like she has a lot to get off her chest that she can’t put into lyrics but either can’t or won’t write a traditional memoir so this is her way of finding a middle ground. however I do think this should have been marketed as prose, ditching the hard to read line breaks and including her own doodles but i guess poetry book is a bit of a buzzword at the moment. I hope she feels better getting this all of her chest. this ‘poem’ kinda hit a note with me, as I relate to some of what she’s talking about.
