I'd kill to have Lana work with King Krule, he's got such an incredible energy and if they made an album together I imagine it'd be like a harder-edged HM, all dark and dreamy

Fourth row in the closest section to the stage for the Columbus show, I'm honestly so shook that I managed to snag it for the same price as GA
-
I’m confused. What are the perks of the gold VIP?
And if I got the gold VIP where could I expect to be standing/sitting?
Going to the Honolulu show.
The gold seats for the Ohio show were all in the first five rows but I managed to snag a seat literally right next to gold in the fourth row for $100

This was taken off youtube, perhaps the instrumentals are coming? Anyone remember how we found them on the sony website the first few times?
-
my woefully instrumentally ignorant ass has 0 idea what the heck any of those are but im excited nonetheless
me too can someone please explain them to us?
If I'm not mistaken the guitar in the Sleepwalk intro she used for Endless Summer is a lap steel, a vibraphone is kinda like a xylophone and it's in a lot of jazz music, and the opening of Strawberry Fields Forever is a mellotron. 12 string guitars are also pretty common in folkier music and were really big in the 60s.

I feel like Tomorrow Never Came is gonna sound a lot like a cross between the Beatles and a country ballad.

yeah... Lana and her team have the whole song. and they provided ONLY THE SNIPPET to SoundHound.... giving them permission to post it
Doesn't all this shit happen thru publishing agencies though? Like I highly doubt it's Lana, Ben, and Ed just hanging around and sending out snippets

Isnt the title a reference to those old vinyl compilations? Like "music to jazz to", "music to take a bath to"
Prbly the song Music to Watch Girls By by Andy Williams as well

I called the FYE near my house earlier and the lady said they expected to have copies within the next two weeks, they've never really been on top of their shit tho so I dunno

UV is always best right around dawn during the early summer when it's all wet outside and the morning glories are opening
-
I'm really pleasantly surprised with Abel's part, I didn't think I'd like him on the song but he fits so well
That subtle Motorcycle engine rev at the beginning
She keeps name-dropping the Shangri-Las so I'm fully convinced it's meant to reference this
-
I'm not the biggest fan of how top 40 it sounds but I like how much it reminds me of some of her unreleased, Second Time Around in particular

So I'm Growing Old On Magic Mountain is so beautiful agh I really like the album... it's tiring but in a good way, if that makes sense

I've liked everything else off of Pure Comedy so far but ngl I'm really happy to get something more energetic

What covers has Lana done/do we have recordings of? So far I've got The End of the World, Goodbye Kiss, Chelsea Hotel, Summer Wine, Roadhouse Blues, Happiest Girl in the Whole USA, Some Things Last a Long Time, and Once Upon a Dream.

If it's just a picture of her holding a dollar bill and it is just her hand, that is from Stella's story. Lana put a dollar into a fortune telling machine!
Oh ok
Honestly thank god I was lowkey expecting to see her buy a bag of cheetos in the next video
-
Did any one else see the story? If no one else say it I find it hard to believe
^ this, but I do find this interesting bc one of the insta accounts that was posting snippets/stills/other info before Love came out posted a lq still/picture earlier of Lana holding cash (it kinda looked like she was at a vending machine tbh ) before deleting it an hour or so later
