I'm very happy for Lana. My current opinion is that this is her best album.

This is honestly her best booklet the photos are amazing and the thank you notes are so heart warming     

I think the photographs are GORGEOUS, seriously there is some beautiful architectural photography going on in here. The ones of Lana herself aren't the best no, bug the rest of them I live for.

OR we could accept that being critical/not liking what you hear does not automatically means you are "bashing the album" or a "bad fan" and that being positive does not automatically mean you are "blindly eating her ass".
 
 
Although there are people here which do both of those things, it would be a much better place if we would just respect each others opinion and be able to actually discuss stuff instead of attacking each other for not feeling the same about music.

Anyone else think that the "fuck" in Cherry is kind of unnecessary  I'm all for Lana cursing but it kind of feels out of place there lol

Ur post really conflicted me bc I love love love HM, and I felt like I had the same sort of reaction to the snippets and made peace and liked them then too. So there's that.

this album is so wordy. very refreshing after Honeymoon where she would just go "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA CACCIATORE" for like 500 hours straight

I feel like everyone is turning so fast on her when we've only really heard 3 songs for the album so far. And maybe a snippet or two of other ones. I believe she's heavily involved in this and is very proud of it. Although I will say I think she's backtracking a bit with Summer Bummer. Too me it seems like a lot has changed since Love was released in February. It seems the whole asthetic of the album is going on a whole different direction. I'm hoping she keeps the same cover or atleast the same logo she used for the first cover and doesn't use the ugly looking font from the album trailer and the SB.

recording a whole album live and moving away from the hip hop and cinematic instruments that made her well known is not innovative? recording an album so drastically different from the last that her record company didn't support it isn't innovative? recording a live alternative rock album and moving away from her pop sound meanwhile everyone else gets pop-ier isnt innovative? not selling out like her record company wanted her to and recording an album that sounds like the west coast isn't innovative? do you know what the word innovative means?
