yall know damn well she’ll make her tickets more expensive, exclusively wear flip flops and grandma dresses, be an hour late to sing lmly, btd, blue jeans, ss, for free, 5 random country flop covers and end the "show" with off to the races where she’ll stay mute for 90% of the song :stareney::stareney:

You forgot the part where she’ll take selphies with the same fans for the 728273838929th time?

And vape for 1/3 of the concert

and the best part is that we still would cry and scream "we love you"

Okay well I'm happy for you that you have these dreams. It's nice to be optimistic. :shh: I hope you won't be disappointed when our stiff and shy singer who sings about childhood abuse in slow & depressing 5 minute ballads doesn't serve that fierce & catchy pop banger designed to please the critics.

Did I say that she have to do this, or the music she releases is boring and I don't like it? I said IMAGINE. stop being so mean

I don't think she's bothered about "destroying Taylor, Ariana, etc." at this point in her career?

It seems like she just wants to tell her story authentically. :oprah3:

This bombastic pop song @ an award show just seems way out of character for her.

And it would be the worst way to get 'revenge', imo. If anything, it would confirm the critics :shh:

what I am thinking as "destroy" is just climbing to the tops of the charts.

How many times critics said that she is boring, and every song sounds the same? too many.

Making a catchy song will show that she can change

im hoping Blue Banisters will give us another "sing along with a bunch of strangers while ur totally drunk anthem" like The Greatest :flutter: something anthemic, fairly upbeat, lots of guitar and drums, a big bombastic chorus to give you that real "this bar's about to close so let's just go sing on the street with a cigarette and what's left of this beer in my hand" vibe :flutter:

or something to have on your headphones for whole summer like Doin' Time

  5. I think we're all sobbing for BTD/UV sounds, and I love Lana and her art with all my heart, but her music does not get to me as it did some years ago, but it's ok. She is evolving as an artist and person, just like all of us, which is beautiful. We really have the opportunity to grow with Lana, and I think we should appreciate every single work of art from her. Doesn't matter if it's produced by Jack or by Rick or anybody else.

i think one performative wannabe woke cringe fest on this album is enough let’s not add "anticapitalist" songs only for her to sell us ugly 100$ sweaters  :smokes3:

What I had on mind is that if she really wanted to talk about BLM or any other political things, it would be better if she did this in one rocky powerful song, and not putting BLM in song which is generally about her mother:icant:

And one whole song would be better for skipping:legend:

Would the label push back the release date because of the insiders releasing the track info too soon? I mean the tracks didn’t necessarily leak but they did leak the premier date and song titles.

I'm sorry for the offtopic, but I'm scrolling through this thread, listening to The Blackest Day Demo, and seeing your gif from Blue Jeans during the 'because im going deeper and deeper' part got me literal chills all over the body
