I love how the sound of Blue Banisters turns from pretty happy at the beginning to completely haunting

to me it's like Ride and Angels Forever combined

Just now, sweetie said:Okay well I'm happy for you that you have these dreams. It's nice to be optimistic. I hope you won't be disappointed when our stiff and shy singer who sings about childhood abuse in slow & depressing 5 minute ballads doesn't serve that fierce & catchy pop banger designed to please the critics.
Did I say that she have to do this, or the music she releases is boring and I don't like it? I said IMAGINE. stop being so mean

1 minute ago, sweetie said:I don't think she's bothered about "destroying Taylor, Ariana, etc." at this point in her career?
It seems like she just wants to tell her story authentically.
This bombastic pop song @ an award show just seems way out of character for her.
And it would be the worst way to get 'revenge', imo. If anything, it would confirm the critics
what I am thinking as "destroy" is just climbing to the tops of the charts.
How many times critics said that she is boring, and every song sounds the same? too many.
Making a catchy song will show that she can change

or something to have on your headphones for whole summer like Doin' Time

Both Jewel and Garbage are not mainstream pop but both did pop albums that were really tongue-in-cheek and over-the-top and I feel like that approach would suit Lana perfectly. Listen to Jewel's Stand for an example
honestly, she is too lazy to do this

ok, but imagine Lana making a mainstream pop song to destroy Taylor, Ariana and others, and then serve us performance like The Weeknd did on this years BBMAs.
We would all die, and it would be her best way to get revenge on criticism of her music and persona

I think we're all sobbing for BTD/UV sounds, and I love Lana and her art with all my heart, but her music does not get to me as it did some years ago, but it's ok. She is evolving as an artist and person, just like all of us, which is beautiful. We really have the opportunity to grow with Lana, and I think we should appreciate every single work of art from her. Doesn't matter if it's produced by Jack or by Rick or anybody else.

What I had on mind is that if she really wanted to talk about BLM or any other political things, it would be better if she did this in one rocky powerful song, and not putting BLM in song which is generally about her mother
And one whole song would be better for skipping

7 minutes ago, gsnlp said:if Blue Banisters is the opening track, the album won't have a instrumental intro and all of her albums have it... maybe this is a break on a tradition or maybe BB won't be the opening track (which is a break on a tradition too)
Why bb not being opening track would be a break on a tradition?

If she wants to sing something about politics, she should make a song with Purge The Poison energy, to not be offended by media again

I'm sorry for the offtopic, but I'm scrolling through this thread, listening to The Blackest Day Demo, and seeing your gif from Blue Jeans during the 'because im going deeper and deeper' part got me literal chills all over the body

Fans : OMG OF OMG. IT WILL HAVE 5 SOUNDS. 5 GENRES. 5 COLLABS??? SHE IS THE QUEEN SHE IS THE GODDESS OHOHOHOHOHO
I think that's the best part of being someone's fan

I would do anything for that, but I doubt she will ever release that, besides her team is still deleting it from YouTube
