can y'all stop pretending that LFL is a good album? it's trash besides 3 or 4 songs at best.

This is the problem with the ones who listened early. Don’t even bother talking about how you think it isn’t worth downloading if you downloaded the leak and hate it. That’s your own fault
I've downloaded the Honeymoon leak (we all remember that shitty speaker leak from UO) and it didn't impact my opinion of Honeymoon either.

the urban outfitters cover is better than the actual one.
The graphic design is really bad though but I do like the actual witchy type AHS Coven picture

I'm from The Netherlands. Bol.com would never post something fake. BUT, it could be a mistake? But that seems unlikely to me, never happens tbh
-
So, is the digital version different from the leaked one? NZ friends tell us
NZ Spotify has the Single version of FIILY
-
Does anyone know a website I can purchase the NFR vinyl (colored), that ships to The Netherlands? So the blue or the purple one? Maybe a German store that's ships to NL as well?

Okay i reversed the ending of Cinnamon Girl and she says something like "I want you/I got you/without you" which is played unreversed right before the beat drops into the outro.
Idk if I can send the reversed ending since it isn't out yet and I don't want another warning
-
It’s before that part. I gave a time stamp because I knew everyone would think I meant that part. That part still sounds like reversed vocals to me lol.
I know what you mean! but that part just seems gibberish to me, or like they've reversed half a word or something
-
am I the only one who hears the phrase “cinnamon girl” all muffled and repeated a few times during the outro of the song? Just around the 4 minute mark for maybe 15 seconds-ish... am I crazy and hearing things or does anyone else hear it?
I definitely hear something, but don't think its "cinnamon girl". I don't know what tho.
Right when the beat drops into the actual outro, I do hear something like "without you/I got you"
-
Am i the only one who unconsciously hears ''Hey man!''/''Alright'' from Born to Die at the end of Cinnamon? It sounds eerily similar, did she sample it or something?
Yesterday I mashuped BTD and Cinnamon and the chorus fits really nicely as well!

Billboard putting The Blackest Day at #80
The 'I got you where I want you' part in the bridge always makes me feel like a bad bitch

There is no 'better' album as its mostly personal taste and tbh, all her albums are great, including both LFL and NFR
-
Imagine Lana recording the verses of Cinnamon Girl with the microphone on her EarPods and just adding some reverb to make it sound "studio"-like
-
a big reason i don't like lust for life and nfr is this sound of her voice that sounds kinda emotionless and distant. like this paper thing, she just sounds so idk how to describe it but i notice it in these last two albums. it doesn't sound clear and doesn't have the animation that can be found in songs like off to the races and lolita among others and its idk
Even though I do like LFL, I absolutely get what you mean. There's just a lack of clarity in the vocals. In Cinnamon Girl you can hear the switch, the good microphone vocals sounds heavenly but the verses are just muffled
-
so we’re ignoring how she sang through paper and her vocals had weird filters on lfl?
Vocal filters are a creative choice, microphone quality switch mid-song, all-round bad mastering and demo-like production isn't (in my opinion).
Still not saying NFR is a bad album at all. But the production is 100% the worst out of all her albums.
Also link me to that paper thing cuz that's quite funny honestly lol
-
But technical things like the changes of mic in the middle of the song and the lines with different volume gains are not on her. It's Jack's and that audio engineer's whose name I forgot lol
Cinnamon is still such a bop but just imagine if the production and mastering of the song was done better, it would slap even harder
-
No honey if it sounds lazy and muddled it's Lana's fault. We all know how much creative control she has over her music. I for once actually like the muddled sound
Yet her creative control didn't impact the production of her previous albums?
-
All these stans making it sound like this is her Magum Opus while I'm over here enjoying just a few tracks and thinking that the production and mixing of the album falls flat and sounds downright terrible at times...
Completely agree. I hope Jack won't produce her next album or at least put as much effort in to it as he did with Melodrama etc

If you listen carefully, both chords are different tho. The chord Jack plays before the first chorus and the chord before the second chorus differ, so I guess that's why she sang a different note
