omg!! BBC Radio 1 just played Cherry for the first time but it's a slightly different mix from the ones we currently have  :deadbanana:  :deadbanana: people who don't like the random swearing should like this version a lot better. the last chorus in particular should have been on the album version.

this is one random post i found and apparently bbc played a different mix of the song but the link is dead u fortunately but i suppose it is just a clean version of the song:defeated:

  3. ugh you all … can’t even explain it but there is something so magical floating around this album and its story … the way how it was evolving, from where it started, how it was progressing as a typical era of lana with its own world, inspiration and aesthetic around it — those cult hot california places, and its different from honeymoon hot summer weather feeling… smth very special that she transmit through such songs as heroin, best american record, love demo version, yosemite, god bless america, the vision is so chill so serene and poetic, down to those beautiful and even more beautiful song titles as la who am i to love you, love on the golf course, silverlake or everything i do, and those promo pics encapsulate this vibe pretty much perfect (https://ibb.co/Jn9WrTG https://ibb.co/hRtKxTH https://ibb.co/TLVxJ41), and i have a lot of love for these things, and it amazes me how different the album turned out to be from what it had been supposed to be from the start, giving the fact the title track of this album was the very first song recorded for this project, this is a unique situation and i know this album still hides the best of her creativity during that period and basically all those was shaping one of her best eras overall, i love this album because of this and it makes me saddened seeing people don’t always see these things, but im sure this album will get only more love as time goes by because it’s great, honestly

Imagine being grateful for a multimillionaire not trying at all. It’s been over for awhile but yeah Lana will never be LANA again. We’ll never get good vocals again. We’ll never get an album that’s truly good again. We hold on because of nostalgia. The most we have to look forward to is one or two genuinely great songs on new records. Crucify me because I’m right (not you. Just responding bc you quoted me) it’s a hard conversation no one wants to have lmao

it’s an extreme thing to write on this site and u probably are having ur moment rn, and even tho i’m not agreeing with u on everything u said ur opinion has actually a place to exists and with some things i totally agree but yeah this is a hard topic to discuss but its clear lana fandom is decided into 2 parts and it has been so for 5 years now so there are not who is right and not right, but i hear :true:

Next in the alternate universe of released albums Do U Luv Me Yet?

I think this cover encapsulates that whole Americas sweetheart vibe she was giving off in 2010 and she looks fucking hot. The back cover was inspired by the Chromatica placeholder cover lol. What do you think of the tracklist? To me these are the best tracks from 2010-11.

Dan was responsible for west coast and shades of cool but she didn't work with him multiple times (despite popular demand :brigitte: )

I'm not denying that jack has made great songs with lana, but it doesn't warrant working with him so consistently

P.s A&W wasn't that good anyway, but thats another topic :hottie:

had no choice but to agree:oprah3:
