Yes! The nostalgia for me isn’t necessarily like oh, it reminds me of her old music (though it does), it just really *sounds* like you’re fondly reminiscing. Which reminds me, in high school we had some group assignment in a high school class to assign songs to feelings, and one feeling was “nostalgia” and I was instantly like “I’m thinking Lana” and the whole group was like yeah me too, lol. I love Drew Erickson! His work with FJM is so good and I feel like a lot of lana fans haven’t liked the stuff he’s done with her but I kneww he was capable of combining the rich, grand sounds she likes with a down to earth folky element.
