  1. Yeah, this show was insane. We got in line around noon and had a decent spot in the pit. But everyone in line in front of us and behind us were 12, it was their first concert, and they had no idea how concert etiquette worked (I'm not exaggerating, we talked to them). They kept leaving the line with no one to hold their spot to run to the barricade by her tour bus and expected us to watch their stuff without ever asking anyone. At one point, the line had to shift forward because the back of the line was blocking traffic and the group wasn't there so we had to stand around their stuff and they were very upset when they returned to the line to find these scary 22 year olds standing around their things. Then we got inside and the only way I can describe the crowd was similar to what I would imagine a Justin Bieber concert combined with a One Direction concert must feel like. Like I said, I'm 22 and I work in music business so this was by no means my first concert, but it was hands down the craziest concert I have ever been to. Not only did people who had waited a long time, but not nearly as long as the people who got up front to the barricade, think they were entitled to be in the front, but they were going to push as hard as possible to get there. A mother and her daughter were standing behind me and during one crowd swell, the mother falcon-gripped onto my arm and I came away from the concert with numerous bruises on my arms and legs. Every time Lana would come down to the barricade, the crowd would swell forward - if someone had fallen, they literally would have been trampled to death. Another thing that contributed to the craziness was that the Tabernacle is not strict in enforcing their ticketing policies. By that I mean a lot of people purchased balcony seats and just went into the pit which caused the pit to be incredibly overcrowded and the balcony to be basically for parents who brought their children. (Also, I just imagined all of them listening to the lyrics of "Cola" when she opened with it and dying as their twelve year old daughters shrieked along my pussy tastes like pepsi cola...) However, the show itself was fantastic. The crowd seemed to calm down a little so I could at least enjoy myself. But I'm also 5'8 so I could see the entire time and I didn't have to worry about someone roughing me up too badly. After the show, we waited at the barricade by her tour bus and had the opportunity to meet her. Literally the highlight of the night. She was so kind, we chatted for a little and got a picture with her. We even talked to Rob about his day at the aquarium. TL;DR: Great show, terrible crowd.
