i don’t think lana was pressured to release the song, but the fact that she didn’t say a word about it when it’s released (or at least that’s for now) makes me feel like it was more of a commercial move than the song meaning so much to her she had to release it as a single. i don’t think it was 100% commercial move because lana wanted to include this song in many albums and now maybe she can finally feels like she ‘freed’ herself from the song but i don’t think she would release it like that if it wasn’t for popularity

yeah, the reasoning behind making bb feels weird and very different from any of her other albums, i don’t really understand the point of making explanatory album that yet lana would like no one to listen to.. but i still really love this album personally, it has most of my favourite lana songs, beautiful is the only song where the minimal production and bad mixing get too far and hurt my ears, but i still think it somehow flows with the rest of the album also i think this post should be in different thread but i’m quoting something from here so i’m sorry i can’t change it

fishtail would be really good if she chose someone else to produce it: the cheap beats, the autotune, and the rest of the instrumental for the most part are just not doing it for me. but i still love the lyrics so much and i think some of her vocals are really beautiful, especially when she sings “if you’re not coming home to me”

this is a nice… behind the scenes video i’m sorry but this made me really disappointed, this whole arrangement (which i think is pretty nice, she looks very pretty and the scenography is really cool as well), and all we get from it is some few professionally recorded scenes containing of few seconds, in a whole TEN minutes video. i don’t really know what was the purpose of making it so long. but i’m happy that we at least are getting something, i just feel like it’s lost potential
