I wouldnt say her best (the production holds it back)

Wonderful production imo, except for closure

  2. End of the World is amazing! Speaking of this song specifically, I feel like although it’s inspired by Lana, it has a distinct and unique sound

Given this artist’s history of releasing material that has leaked, we’re going to have to be strict when it comes to users posting or requesting links to her leaked material.

Links and request for links are posted at your own risk. Of course not everything that has leaked will see official release, but it can be expected that newer material is new for a reason. It should not be posted or asked for on Lanaboards.

Were there leaks of her songs made after 2020?

Isn't it amazing how Lana's albums are so distinct that any new song can go in any direction: from sounding anything like psychedelic rock to soft rock to jazz to singer-songwriter to alt. pop and baroque pop to folk rock and gospel.

Not a lot of artists have that vibe about them. I mean, for me, for example, all Miley Cirus songs sound like basic bitch pop. Lana's diversity!

And we'll now be adding country and American songbook to that long list of genres she's covered.

Hell no, Miley is diverse, too. Pop, rock (she has a lot of hard rock covers as well), hip hop, country, psychedelic (listen to her Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz album, it’s amazing).

It’s kind of crazy how 1989 is the best re-recording but gets called the worst just because of Style :horror2: Out of the Woods, All You Had to Do Was Stay, Bad Blood, and This Love are all improvements on the original and tbh the rest all sound pretty much the exact same. The vault tracks are all at least a 4/5 too. Now That We Don’t Talk, Slut!, and Is it Over Now are all highlights even considering the main album.

I was never that disappointed in Taylor’s Versions until I heard the new version of All You Had to Do Was Stay…

i genuinely don’t understand this take at all😭😭

i get it for anthology but the standard?

For me it’s totally the opposite :D kinda can understand it when people talk this way about the standard edition but I don’t get it when they talk about the anthology

the story of All Too Well 10min version is essentially she was playing the song while on the Speak Now tour on stage during rehearsal and someone recorded it and the recording is apparently 10mins. that is all we know, but my guess is she played around a lot with the song in those ten minutes and likely did a good bit of the end portion on the piano as she worked the lyrics - we see a lot of her process in the reputation Making Of videos. so I think it basically was the same song but it was never MEANT to be ten minutes and there weren't 10 mins worth of lyrics. simply, the recording of her MAKING the song initially is 10 mins.

It was actually 25 minutes originally

No more horrible than the likes of Madonna or Mariah, which at the end of the day are “stories” tbh.

Yeah they’re “stories” but I have hardly seen such stories about Madonna or Mariah while there have been stories about Jennifer for like 15 years… like a lot of crazy stories, I don’t see why people would just make them up

  17. 15 minutes ago, Coney Island King said:

It’s all a bit stupid really. Here is a woman who had a huge career back in the day, selling millions of albums and hit singles, one of the biggest Latina acts ever - and now in her late 50’s isn’t experiencing the same type of success as most popstars her age and for some reason it’s hilarious?

If people don’t like her, whatever…..but the entertainment biz is hard for aging women and Jen has literally NOTHING to prove to anyone, she’s been there and DONE IT ALL over the course of her career.
Her new album is a snoozefest, but i got nothing but respect from my end for a woman who has lasted through the thick and thin of a career in Hollywood, especially a latina one. I feel like that about any older woman still hustling all these years later in showbiz.

Also this notion that she is talentless is odd to me, sure…she’s not known for her voice, but she has always been a fantastic stage performer, dancer and business woman. She’s achieved things people half her age never will in Hollywood.

I think it’s more about how she’s been horrible to her staff and fans etc, there are so many awful stories
