  1. it honestly is so interesting how some of you are so defensive of anything she says/does, when she wasn't even attacked/judged - i just stated that i, PERSONALLY, feel uneasy because of the line and i have a good reason for that . it's so weird being quoted on that with responses telling me that im wrong for it, like..? i am sure that many people would feel weird in such a situation, rightfully so. is it the worst thing to say in a song? no. is it insensitive in a way? i sure do think so.

How is she being careless tho?... If you're dating someone, spend time with them, and that person tests positive you're already at risk, so what are you going to do? better to stay with that person actually, is not like she's mocking victims of covid or something like that

    Spoiler

adding "it dont matter"/"whatever" is giving off a careless vibe, also the tone in which it's said/sung.. idk maybe it does depend on each person's experience. god knows i wish i could think like most people here, liking it and calling it cheeky

  3. Spoiler

as someone who's lost his favorite person because of covid, i wish she didn't include that line in what seems to be one of the more interesting tracks on the album sonically. it's gonna be a weird album listen for me- starting with the sense of grief in the grants, and then a few tracks later her being careless about the reason for my grief

  4. She looks cute. The photoshoot as a project on itself is very boring but hey it's rolling stone - we can't expect the same level of artistry as fashion magazines... idk at least thats how i feel. I do like this better than the billboard one for sure but both pretty meh. Wish she did magazines like dazed or some european vogue, etc.

There is no way in Hell Neil is using a Polaroid, he is at the very least using a medium format film camera, which are giant hunks of things. (I speak as a visual artist 🤓)

he probably just had her lie on the bed and reach towards the lens

I don't know about this photoshoot specifically, but he does use polaroid cameras. I am pretty sure that the Ultraviolence cover is a polaroid photo. I am also sure that there is a video of him and Lana going through (scans?) of polaroids with colorful frames during the LFL era.

they have mirrors on them for selfies! the good ones have pretty good mirrors too

I googled what you said and all google provided was instax, and i am sure neil krug is not using instax. i am not saying im too informed, but i dont think that the only challenge in taking a polaroid selfie is being able to see yourself, adjusting the focus is also not too simple and other stuff. But I am not a photographer so I might be wrong

i wonder if it's rly a selfie or if neil and her made it look that way and it was a bit more intentional (the hair placement and expression at least seems very intentional to me).. pls imagine if someone leaked that the cover was a selfie before lana posted it lanaboards would collapse in fear

I don't think it's a selfie considering it was shot with a polaroid camera, but idk
