    i’m sure that background instrumental (violins ecc.) will be clearer and make the song even darker, more interesting and more  complete in a way. Already Lana voice in the snippet is sharper than the leak and I loved it so much

    A lq version leaked this weekend.

    there was a listening party for critics and one of them described the song completely differently from what was heard via the leak. I gathered that the leak was from a recording of a vinyl.

I doubt it’s the track that was originally at CN’s place that critics got to hear. By the way, I hope they some kind of « listening booths » with headphones for this album because I don’t see myself enjoying much of the subtleties of the album if it’s playing on speakers for everyone :usrsney:

    Paris Texas, Grandfather, A&W, Taco Truck and Margaret, with Let The Light In and Fingertips really high on my list too. I also still really love The Grants.

     

    The closest to a skip for me is Sweet not because it’s bad but because I just can’t connect with the Broadway-like sonority and Drew’s orchestration can be hit or miss for me.

    actually i have listened only to a few leaks and i can say that I extremely love paris, texas, i find sweet very beautiful actually and then I listened only to the beginning of some songs: taco truck and peppers impressed me much, the seconds i heard of the interludes were very interesting and i’m curious about how fingertips and kintsuji evolve since i haven’t finished listening to them ( even if i kinda understood that kintsuji doesn’t really evolve and so fingertips) The album seems to be a really good one
