  1. the caption on her latest instagram post really jumped out at me. i first saw her  in concert days before her 21st birthday, and now she's in the last year of her 20's?? time truly flies :krylie:

    I think she's at her fame's peak

i said that too a couple of years ago about 1989, especially since in the lover era it felt like she's was dropping off a bit, but this past year has been an incredible awakening from that. i'd say anything is possible for her at this point :true:

This album is tons and tons better than Midnights. The critics reception for Midnights should've been the real reception for TTDP and TTDP's reception should've been the real reception for Midnights. I know that people and music critics are tired of Taylor but this album is like a whole new island in her discography, it's a whole new universe of emotions. The grief stage concept was kinda genius ngl.

when it's eventually cool to like her again there will be thousands of articles written about how wrong they were, i'm calling it now

I don't wanna start smthn but I'm not a fan of all these comments about not ageing; women should be allowed to age and there's nothing wrong w that

i could never be famous, seeing people constantly discuss my looks via age and weight would drive me right into a psych ward

  5. this video is an incredible analysis of the album. i'm sure no one outside of the fandom would want to watch a 2 hour video about a single album, but this is what i will point people towards when they try to say her current writing doesn't make any sense and she's just saying things.

  6. been listening to the anthology obsessively. it's giving me that same feeling i got when i was in the early stages of listening to folklore and evermore, just awestruck. i love taylor swift in all kinds of genres but THIS is where she truly thrives to me. the strings in the prophecy have me in a chokehold :oprah:

  7. i just installed this on my switch a couple of days ago! what i wouldn't give to have one of my relatives gift me some large plot on land in the country to escape to right now...

I see The Anthology as an extended deluxe addition because I feel like there was absolutely 0 thought put into the track listing, I think it is one of her worst tracklists ever. Why is The Black Dog the opener? Why is The Albatross, one of the most folky songs on the record, right after imgonnagetyouback, which is a spacey vibey pop song?:awkney: It only makes it worse that the standard TTPD has literally her best tracklist.

this is why i feel like one of the more poppy songs (imgonnagetyouback or so high school) should've been swapped on the tracklist for the smallest man who ever lived. that song just screams anthology. she should've kept that evermore folksy vibe going and left the pop songs for the standard imo

this is gonna be controversial, but "The Tortured poets Department" might be her weakest title track to date.

the title track feels almost ai generated to me, or what someone would say a generic ts song sounds like. it's catchy but not on same the level as the rest of the record

The fact that all all these shill reviewers acclaim bombed her-only to go with the inverse opinion after others disagreed :lmao:

exactly, it's incredibly see-through. i personally couldn't care less what the critics say, but to watch them coward behind whatever train of thought is most popular at the moment is pathetic. form your own opinions and SAY THEM WITH YOUR CHEST! (and if you're going to be as disrespectful as to bring Sylvia Plath into your silliness, put your name on it.)
