Hoping she films this and releases a concert movie interspersed with its footage and interviews.

Apparently a friend of a friend is trying to sell two tickets. I flirted with the idea of maybe trying to go again, until I realized it’s $700 for the two tickets and flights start at $580.

I really hope it is a special one off show and not a repeat of other performances. Maybe it will be professionally filmed and released. That would be amazing. Maybe she’ll play a couple of songs that she rarely performs. Special guest appearance, perhaps?

Manifesting all the crazy things that could make this an extra special concert :derpna3:

  2. Landed a ticket for a previously unannounced 3rd show of his in NY in November. Ticketmaster was absurd, worse than any Lana experiences I’ve had, but that’s in the past now.

I can’t wait to go back to NYC and see him again. There are mixed signals about him playing or refusing to play classic ‘Floyd tracks, but it doesn’t matter. His solo records are great and I’m looking forward to hearing the new album. If he does leave out the classics, that’s fine too. He hinted at possibly playing more of the later Floyd catalog, when he led the band, following the departure of Roger. That would be a neat change of pace.

If anyone else wanted to see him, they “added” a few more shows for both LA and NYC, but that’s it. I think the official sale is tomorrow, but I think it will be difficult to get tickets after that. Unless you have a ton of disposable income.

  3. David recently announced a few tour dates this year. I really thought he was done touring after the 2016 bit. He is like 78 years old now.

Anyway, he’s only doing four North American dates. Twice in LA and twice in NYC.

I really want to see him in NY again. The flights are kinda cheap too, but I’m worried about the Ticketmaster pricing sh!t.

Presale is this Thursday. Wish me luck!

Damn sold out instantly is crazy

hopefully they do a few more of these elsewhere

I wonder if maybe this was a test run to see how a stadium show sold. Obviously it sold out just fast about every other one of her shows, so selling out shouldn’t be a problem, regardless of venue.

I lived in Boston for 12 years. The prices won't drop. If anything they're going to go up especially because of resellers :bebe:

Even with the presale codes? Isn’t this the first time she’s really done a show with actual one time use codes? Although I’m sure resellers will snatch up tickets on Friday, I was under the impression that *mostly* fans were buying tickets today.

seats still available on ticket master I just got in, I paid 209 for turf seats on mlb. they're over 600 on Ticketmaster.

That dynamic pricing is downright evil. Tickets that aren’t even turf are $450 right now. $600 for back turf. What a joke. I wish more venues would have their own ticket system.

I don’t know how much resale ticket prices will drop since it’s a big city, but when I saw her in Mississippi my $500 tickets dropped to around $100 the day of. Either way, the dynamic pricing is a complete rip off 😓

  7. I’ll be sitting this one out as well. If she didn’t tease about other US dates coming up, I probably would have settled for whatever seats I could get.

It’s just too much with having to get a flight and I was gonna have to drive 3 hours to Dallas to find any flight under $400 anyway. (The only reasonable flight was Spirit too 💀)

I’ll roll the dice and hope for a show within driving distance later this summer. 🖤

I am genuinely happy for those of you who were able to get tickets

    :twirls:

  8. I got back into MLB by closing the window and opening the email link, but the only “good” tickets left are in the very back of the turf seating.

UPDATE: I refreshed and some closer turf seats became available. Don’t give up!! I won’t be buying tickets unless pit becomes available on there or Ticketmaster, but I’m delulu to think that’s even possible lol

anyone else stuck on a screen on mlb that just says "exclusive offers"?

I’m stuck in a queue that says “Experience is Everything.”

If you’re in any of the queues, don’t give up. For the last show I went to, I waited over an hour and everything was sold out. Then two seats popped up, probably after people started bailing.
