  1. Yeah like two iconic singles and videos and she did that woman anthem in 2003 when almost no one else was doing it.

We welcome you back to the game Willa!

  2. It's so tiring. At least she confirmed a new song and that the album is finished and coming (later this year?) But I find hilarious that she is saying she needs that "spark" to release the album. Girl, if in 10 years you didn't have it with the album what is gonna change now?.

I kinda feel bad for her because as she says, no one's gonna give her back those 10 years both personally and professionally but I'm not sure what is holding her back this time to release it now that she actually CAN. I guess she went through hell though.

  3. Apparently the album will be upbeat, she said "sure is!" when I asked her and that she "can't wait to share it" which I guess it means it's more advanced than I thought.

  4. Well, certainly the title chosen for the supposed second album was well chosen because it definitely is being a torture waiting for it.

  5. A Lana colab and it's just an interlude, lol

No hope for this album. Everything seems so forced... but will listen to it because I'm intrigued.

Also that blonde hair... she doesn't look good with it.

  6. Ok so she confirmed on an instagram story that an album (and an interior design TV show) is in the works. 20 years later after her last single "A Toast to Men".

I guess you remember her (only) hit "I Wanna Be Bad" from 2001 and if you don't you are not a true pop culture fan, lol. Her debut album "Willa was Here" is one of the best pop albums of the bubblegumpop era.

She quit music after so many disappointments and has been asked about returning for many years. Her unreleased album "Sexysexobsessive" remains unleaked except for a handful of songs. In 2019 she came back to spotlight because she was on a TV show of interior design and had multiple interviews. In all of them she was asked about returning to music and always said no. She confirmed she was still writing songs though.

Apparentely she is coming with disco/dance/upbeat music (asked her about it), which is good news in my book, I was afraid about folk/country music. I don't know why her change of heart but I'm glad. She said she "connected" again with it because she was meant for creating art in one way (music) or another (interior design).

let's see if her album is any good.

    Her previous one is immaculate.

I expect this one to be more upbeat and with a nice vintage booklet. Don't prove me wrong, girl.

  8. ELIO

    I love this chick.

She is releasing her debut album "Something in the air" in 11 days. Great cover and physicals for the first time in her career. It sounds pretty promising, she is amazing at creating melodies.

How come it's been two years since the last post? don't sleep on her.

  9. Does she have something similar to Two Weeks? That song is beyond amazing but for the few more songs I've listened from her, nothing is as mesmerizing...

  10. I'm super confused with her at the moment. Like I'm not sure this is 100% Camila and what really wants to do now and the rest of albums were just label imposed or she is trying way too fucking hard with this new one... I liked her albums, especially Romance, I'm quite intrigued with this so I will give it a listen. Hate the first single though, it's so annoying, kinda like the production but still a no for me.

  11. Night Time, My Time

    01. 24 Hours

    02. Boys

    03. Ain't yout right

    04. Nobody Asked me (if I was Ok)

    05. I Blame myself

    06. Everything's Embarrassing

    07. You`re not the One

    08. Heavy Metal Heart

    09. I Will

    10. Love in Stereo

    11. Lost in my Bedroom

Like that is the PERFECT album. The original tracklist is super good but Omanko is too noisy and repetitive and doesn't stand out as much, Kristine is quite boring and don't like the vocal production and Night Time... is the best of the three by far, I like how obscure and dark it is but sonically feels a bit out of place, it sounds really early iamwhoamiwhoami, which is good just not for this album? I don't know, just feel the album is even better without them plus adding those two.

  12. Billboard update: Rises from #17 to #4, new peak. She is going for the #1 here as well, I'm seeing it. Anyway, still her first Top 5, sooooo happy for her.

  13. Her best song? to me is a non event of a song, it's ok at best. The first minute is super boring and long... Not a huge chorus either.

She has way better songs than this in my opinion.

What’s everyone’s fav released Tove Lo song, mine is sadder badder cooler

That's funny because that one is actually one of my least favorite songs by her and I don't have many. She is a bop maker.

Can't say an actual favorite song, I have way too many, but I guess the entirety of Lady Wood + Disco Tits + Hey you got drugs + No one dies from love.

  15. I loved that live cover version and I just figured out how much I actually missed her voice and new music from her even if it is not an original song.

Her voice is so damn unique.

I'm obsessed with the acoustic version she did. It's on youtube. Her voice sounds massive. I can understand people hating on the studio version because vocals sound a little bit dirty with the production it has but that acoustic version is heavenly.

  17. The EP is so so so good. Pure elegance. I love all 5 songs, if the second part of this is as good, this is gonna be one of the best albums this year.

"No One" , "In my dreams" and "Dust" are my favorites.

I'm pretty sure the Love In Stereo video was the one that was shot on film with her in a bathtub wearing a cowboy hat or whatever but the footage "got destroyed." Heavy Metal Heart had a performance video filmed for MTV but it was never aired or something like that, not a music video

This rings me a bell way more than Heavy Metal Heart (my fave from the album) having a video.

  19. I always listen to the album like this, and it's just smash after smash:

    1. Boys

    2. Ain't Your Right

    3. 24 Hours

    4. Nobody Asked Me (If I was OK)

    5. I Blame Myself

    6. Everything's Embarrassing

    7. You're not the One

    8. Heavy Metal Heart

    9.  I Will

    10. Love in Stereo

    11. Lost in my Bedroom (it works so well as the album closure)

    TIMELESS
