okay so i have the feeling that as allie gets bigger she'll get more and more of her older stuff deleted from the internet and since some of her old performances are fUCKING PERF i decided to make a tumblr + archive all the videos from youtube + her old songs. any help in this would be much appreciated bbys ♥

New to this site/thread but have been with Charli since 2012. Anyone else feel like the whole "this is me doing exactly what I want to do" thing about Sucker era is actually a lie? It seems like her label is trying to squeeze as much coin out of her since Fancy & Boom Clap hit and it never seems like Charli works well under pressure and she kind of has a dead look in her eyes when she talks about her music rather than how excited she was to talk about it and talk to fans. I remember meeting her back in 2013 and she was so nice and took time to meet and talk to each fan, and now she apparently doesn't even come out after shows anymore. Just doesn't feel like the Charli I've grown to love
sucker was obviously meant to be a punk album but her label fucked w/ it and made it into pop, it's not her album anymore.

Jesus people, stop attacking me please. It was an observation for jake, no one else. I just wanted to see how much of a hypocrite he was. 1. He brought attention to it when I said nothing about it. 2. He's acting like he's not a hypocrite when he lied about having songs and access to her soundcloud private links.

I'm not a rude bitch to hoard things and then act more important than everyone else just because I have it unlike a certain someone in this thread.how would they have access to private soundcloud links unless she sent them to him personally?

Listened to the four tracks we have again and I have to say, my opinion has changed. Looking in with a positive outlook has really changed the experience for me, and I'm starting to appreciate it more now.

??????????????????????????? that's because it was a concept album and the whole point was that it was supposed to have a story???? she said Froot wasn't a concept album so that's why there is no concept to it lol...besides, a lot of the songs do subtly link to each other (there's a post on MB about it somewhere) in their lyricism
That's not the point. The point I'm trying to make is that even TFJ had underlying themes, and to a point, the first four songs contradict themselves.

Her pre-fame music will always be her best imo. The quality of the lyrics COMPLETELY made up for the shit production/low quality. Her clever metaphors and wit were just fantastic, now she's using metaphors like "a flower in a gun, a bird in flight", like what the fuck does that even mean? I used to worship her and I'll always be a fan, but I'm not as much of a stan as I once was.

EH had a story and a concept, so far FROOT just seems to be random songs that don't fit together and just seem out of place and messy.

Even on emotionally charged songs like Immortal and Happy, her voice is emotionless (pretty nonetheless).
I miss songs like Obsessions and Numb where she sang with emotion. Don't get me wrong, I'm so glad she's happy now but I just miss her realism.
