  1. When I first heard the song this morning I was so disappointed I felt sick tbh. The whole production sounded so sloppy and pieced together. Then I listened to the version without the weird cuts and sorta almost kinda maybe liked it. Then I gave in and downloaded it onto my laptop and put in my headphones and fell in love with it completely.  :defeated: Sometimes her songs take like ten listens before I'm completely converted and once again hypnotized by whatever black magic she's casting.

  2. Even if we can't all agree on the song's quality, can't we agree she's trying more this time around? The little video on the official audio surprised the fuck out of me, tbh, I feel like it was more complex/put together than some of her actual videos. That alone excites me, because I love the visuals. Can't wait for the video if it's anything like the single cover. It's so lush and colorful and Lana looks gorgeous.

I love how in the little official audio video how she's sorta being coy and kicking her feet out over the H of the Hollywood sign. So cute.

  3. Not sure if anyone's mentioned this, and I missed it the first time I watched the album trailer, but when the camera pans to Mt. Rushmore, it's all cracked to the point where Abraham Lincoln's face resembles a skull. Obviously having Mt. Rushmore (with the heads of past great presidents) cracked and somewhat destroyed is symbolic in it itself, but Lincoln's face being somewhat skull-like really got my imagination going.

  4. I literally screamed when I just watched the trailer and my boyfriend yelled from half way across the apartment ARE YOU OKAY??? and I couldn't even say anything to let him know I wasn't dying. Because I was.  :defeated: I didn't even know I wanted this, but this is exactly what I want from Lana. Like someone said, Political Space Witch, she put a damn spell on me.  :defeated:

  5. I think she says 'to see who you really are'. I think she's trying to say she drives on the 405 to see him everyday and the 405 always leads to him. If this really is about Barrie, I question their current relationship

What'd she mean by that bed lyric?

I took the bed lyric as the physical passion being drained out of their relationship because all the passion was being put into the musical project instead.
