    Go in depth about the backstory to most of her songs. She's well aware that the mystery is part of the image. I don't even think she'd ever confirm or deny fan speculation, especially for the older tunes.

     

    Also, I've seen people say on here Lana would be the type to read through the threads on here to get opinions from fans but I don't think she ever would... some people on here are so fucking mean to her for no reason and I don't think she'd appreciate all the bullshit.  :crossed:

     

    Is there a thread yet for "Things Lana Said She'd Do But Will Never Follow Through With" because hunties I have a LIST  :smokes3:

    She didn't write Obsession and she's said in multiple interviews she was thrown into a studio one day with Ryan Tedder and they had her record it and she thought it was just gonna be a demo for someone else and then they made it the lead single for Cry Baby without her having any say in it. She said she didn't like it from the second she heard it because it didn't fit her style at all. I don't understand how she doesn't like 17 though. She wrote that one. She also co-wrote all of As If! except for Traces, which Neon has stated she wrote every word of despite the fact it isn't registered that way. Honestly if she had never done Obsession we probably would've gotten a lot more electropop from her back then. She said having to release that and promote it left a bad taste in her mouth and she felt like a sell-out.

    She had As If!, 17, and Obsession taken down a while ago because she "hates them" (but for some reason loves One which I can't figure out for the life of me). Obsession ended up as part of the vampire diaries soundtrack though so she couldn't get that version removed.

    that lyric wouldn't be allowed on radio lmao but I agree the one she replaced it with isn't any better

     

    wait why wouldn't it be allowed on the radio? I always thought she was saying "heroine" as in head bitch, not "heroin" lol. am I wrong ??

    I said it before and I'll say it again. HFK is much better than Badlands. BL isn't a bad album per se... but some of the songs on there are just sooooo "tumblr aesthetic bubblegum cigarettes it's fun to be suicidal" etc. HFK is more mature sounding to me and since I haven't overplayed it it hasn't aged bad for me at all.
