I’m sorry but I’m just not the biggest fan of the strings they’re obviously very nice and lush but sound a bit out of place imo (like they recorded the strings section separately from her vocals with the guitar and just added them in). However I LOVE the twangy slide guitar. Maybe an unpopular opinion but I would have actually would have really liked to hear one more similar to the version she posted that sounded more guitar focused

Very nice country infused sound, reminds me of the Nashville sound with a nice mix of the traditional pop sound from Ocean Blvd it sounds very similar to the newest Mitski album (Heaven comes to mind) that Drew also has worked on. I’m sure TRPWS will be a bit more diverse in its sound to separate itself, I’m excited to see what’s next
