    When Weyes Blood starts singing on Sides

    I wasn't feeling the singles that much, but on the context of the album I really enjoyed them. He delivered a masterpiece once again.

    Whip came out of fucking nowhere and fucked me up so bad!!!!

     

    I really really liked this album, standouts for me are Anoche, Reverie, Saunter and Coraje.

    I only started listening to him last night and I can't believe it took me this long to find out about him. Piel and Anoche are so beautifully haunting.

    I've always been more of a fan of their Devotion/TYLS kind of sound, like I do still like DC and Bloom (I have an irrational hate boner for Teen Dream), but it's always Devotion/TYLS that I go back to when I want to get my Beach House fix.

    And here I thought Tears on Fire was good. I'm SHOOK, Morning After and On Another Day are so fucking good. 

     

    Is it just me or does she sound so much like Florence at the beginning of DPGALTTM?

    Front Row Seat to Earth fucks me up everytime I listen to it, so good. I can't wait for her EP with Ariel Pink, if it's as good as Tears on Fire we're in for a treat.
