I’m not totally sure if he speaks Arabic but I don’t think he has any songs in the language.

I just googled it and he seems to be super influenced by Arabic themes & music so I’m sure he will eventually. He even mentions how he never learnt his father’s language so that might change too!

Awesome! And yeah, I can definitely hear the Middle Eastern influences, both in the music and instruments but sometimes even in the way he sings. I think that's what makes his music interesting, just like how Rosalía mixes her flamenco influences to her own music. They both take something which has inspired them a lot and makes something new of it. I just find it difficult to grasp the lyrics, I think, and getting familiar with the songs.

His music is so good.. like it’s really a surprise to me that he hasn’t been picked up by more people. His live shows are incredible too.

Yeah, he was just here less than two weeks ago, and I considered going but didn't in the end and now I kinda regret it, haha. It would've been such a nice, intimate concert, the venue isn't large at all. I'm listening to Sahar now and it feels like a leveled up Amir, I'm liking it!

I love him so much  I was listening to his cover of Mariners for the 1000000th time and it's probably one of the best Lana song covers ever. I love his new album but Amir is closer to my heart. I'm so glad that Lana recognized his talent in his early career days. I really want a collab between these two.

The first single, “Babylon”, is out! Very beautiful guitar play and that typical, middle eastern cinematic-strings-sound. I can’t say I hear every single word he sings though, but I get 99% of them.

I'm so surprised how early this new era started, I thought that we are going to wait for another 4 years again. I have known his music for like 5 years but this new era is going to be a first one for me, experiencing as a fan. One of the best male alt singers out there, his voice is so godly!

Beautiful voice but not gonna lie, I have trouble hearing what he sings sometimes, the pronunciation is 50-50 for me, or maybe it’s just me, I dunno.

I actually missed this one - this may be the first single, and Babylon is the second one. "My heroine" will open his third album. I think it'll sound gorgeous in the studio version!
