Future indie pop icon L Devine closed 2019 in style and is already firing on all cylinders in 2020. In November she was honoured by GAY TIMES with the Elevate Emerging Star in Music award and The Guardian, NME and Vogue all added to her growing acclaim by tipping her in their artists to watch in 2020 features.

 

Now, L Devine continues that flying start to the year by sharing her new single ‘BORING PEOPLE’. The track quickly does the unexpected by placing a ‘90s grungy guitar line into a bass-heavy dark pop production. As ever, L Devine’s personality shines through, with her distinctive vocals making the perfect vehicle for her tongue-in-cheek lyrics.

 

‘BORING PEOPLE’ tees up what looks set to be a breakthrough year for the 22-year-old. She’s set to hit the road as guest to FLETCHER in March before she embarks upon her biggest UK/EU headline tour to date in May, which includes a London show at Heaven.

 

L Devine’s quest to craft the perfect pop song is connecting with a rapidly growing audience. Charli XCX and Lewis Capaldi are the household names who are leading the charge, while support from Radio 1 and Beats 1 is attracting waves of newcomers.
