rural legend Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 So... I go through periods of time where I don't listen to Lana or any music at all. And for some weird reason, I struggle to get back into it because with such massive catalogue it's hard to pick the right song or the right album to get you in the mood. If you go through a similar phase what are your go-to's to break out of it? 5 Quote
#vapeinfluencer Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 white dress - chemtrails over the country club - tulsa jesus freak this combo will make u fall in love w lana again 8 Quote
Cherry Blossom Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Usually Honeymoon as an album Specific songs that reignite my cravings for her music are White Dress, Cruel World, Shades Of Cool, Video Games, Yosemite, Get Free, Ride, Venice Bitch, Yayo 9 Quote
Blue Ink Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 I can always listen to West Coast, Yayo (aka version), UFB or Chemtrails, depending on my mood. 7 Quote Honey, you make me feel I'm invincible
Liz Taylor Blues Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Honeymoon. Listened to it in the car, it’s even better than I remember. Salvatore is an Accomplishment. My God. Also The Other Woman is such a great closer and cover 7 Quote
lanaismamom Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 cola, in my feelings, florida kilos, pretty when you cry, swan song, heroin, yosemite ? 4 Quote
wthebluemascara Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 For me it's usually Brooklyn Baby. But also when I'm in that mood, the "not listening to Lana at all mood", I find myself singing Swan Song or White Dress. 4 Quote ✧・゚:* ヽ(*・ω・)ノ*:・゚✧
GeminiLanaFan Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 The weather and seasons influence my Lana playlist a lot! Here, it’s summer and Norman songs are perfect, or the bops from BTD. Honeymoon is also very good when it’s super hot 2 Quote
rural legend Posted May 24, 2022 Author Posted May 24, 2022 Those are some great picks! Thank you all! Also, White Dress seems to be the most popular one 3 Quote

If you go through a similar phase what are your go-to's to break out of it? but who says that you have to pick tho ? My advice is: Listening to her whole discography in order is always the best - Yes it might take quite some time but that means you will spend sometimes to catch up/ discover/ explore the evolution of Lana Del Rey, which is really interesting and really worth it. (you should start at BTD or AKA again) Why? Because the more you listen to Lana in order, witness her growth a an artist and a human being, to get to the woman she is today, you should go through every single one of her catalogue because i promise you - at the end, it's worth it. Before Lana drop something new, i always listen to her previous work in full to see where she left it at that particular point and as i transit to another era, I can see how she pick it up again. Yeah, that means go listen to her discography i say call it a "Lana Del Rey discography journey" i suppose 2 Quote @WHORE OF TROPICO ⇨ @SALVAWHORE

I think I only ever listened to her entire discography start to finish just before Chemtrails dropped. Or was that NFR? I don't even remember I can't promise I'll do that but I might give it a go soon! 1 Quote
