The Grants has really grown on me. At first, the intro was a bit jarring and I didn’t fully understand or appreciate how it connected to the rest of the record. Then I listened to it in its entirety more. Hearing it live was probably the turning point. Then I realized it sounded very similar, in parts, to another song that I like from my 2nd favorite artist. 
 

I still don’t consider it my fav fav song, but it has a special place in my heart

I have not listened to any song from this album but Candy Necklace, LTLI and A&W  Really not aging well for me.

These songs are in my top 4! With Paris Texas too. But that's sad it hasn't aged well for you. It's the opposite for me, it has aged well for me and it's still a beautiful album. But you know, people have different tastes, so yeah I understand...

It’s my fav off the album, it’s so romantic and tragic and beautifully sung

Would definitely not want to say it's a bad record or anything but it just does not do much for me as an album. There are a lot of beautiful moments on there but the overall incoherence and slight messyness is making the listening experience a bit bulky.

something just clicked for me and a&w is now one of my favorites

ive noticed i only like songs that i get a "warm" feeling from if that's what you can call it, so LFL (my least fav album) and a few songs from OB (which i don't rly get any warmth from the first half) have finally been warming up to me

it's like a comfort/coziness and a&w has reached that now bc it feels a bit nostalgic

yeah, this one really grew on me. I think this song being such a strong presence on the tour sets made me like it so much. Seeing this live is the closest one can feel to heaven.
