That Nirvana snippet sounds good. Those other 2 are terrible though. I sighed out loud when I heard that Crystal Waters sample. Lazy/uninspired/bad samples and interpolations are my least favorite trend in pop music right now, but the chances of this album not having that were basically non-existent. I feel like this album’s gonna be like Smile where a few songs are good but overall it’s underwhelming and just misses the mark. I hope I’m wrong though. She seems to be very aware of all the criticism she’s gotten for Witness and Smile and seems to want to apply the critiques, but she seems to also be kinda unaware of what her fans actually want from her musically and thinks long black hair and serving visually was all that was lacking. It would be sad to see her miss the mark again, considering Smile was basically also her trying to apply critiques she got for Witness.
