Just thinking about how the Lust For Life concept could have been executed SO much better. Going with the whole future + vintage idea, I don't think hip hop, alternative, and then only a few ballads was the way to go. Maybe I'm biased because of my genre preferences with Lana, but I think this is how the album should have been laid out:
 

"Vintage" Songs (tracks 1-7): acoustic, folk, piano-based, 60s influence, americana

Songs that could fit this category: Beautiful People Beautiful Problems, Tomorrow Never Came, Change, Say Yes To Heaven, California (HM), Yosemite, Roses Bloom For You

 

"Future" Songs (tracks 8-16): electronic, spacey, synths + electric guitars, art pop/dream pop

Now here are some songs that could fit in this category: Love, Lust For Life, 13 Beaches, Cherry, White Mustang, WTWWAWWKD, Heroin, Get Free, Poetry In Motion

 

Based on these songs, I think this could have been a great tracklist:

Is any other info know about those "few others" I might be wrong but I believe Honeymoun said she set aside like 7 and he mentioned the ones you said + love on the gold course and possibly la who am I to love you as the seventh

Since we know that get dark and say it isn't so we're made in September 2017 does this mean that they were also considered bc I'm assuming they weren't considered for any early versions of nfr

Also California tlsp song or California Honeymoon Outtake bc didn't that one get a 2017 rework I'm assuming tlsp song

I believe it is the same but was SLIGHTLY altered for streaming service quality, but the production wasn’t changed

Yea I just checked the credits and it was produced by Rick Nowels so yea I'm assuming it wasn't altered too much

I love Everything I Do but it feels little bit unfinished, so I don't think it was every considered to be on the album unless it has a more finalized version. And to be honest I don't even think the album had a proper tracklist then before releasing Love or Lust For Life song.

 

Where did God Bless no drums come from?
