Intriguing Penguin 867 Posted December 6, 2015 Lorde was the epitome of a teenager who thought she was all grown up and knew it all at the age of 16-17. Bless her. If only, she'd release a second album instead of fucking around with Taylor and the Hungergames.
Atom Heart 1,931 Posted December 7, 2015 Lorde did the worst thing which was jump on the bandwagon of hating Lana because she had a lot of backlash. the worst thing you can do is hate someone because a lot of other people do. Now that Lana is getting recognized in a more positive light it'd make sense for Lorde to speak of her positively. It does sound sincere though. I think she did change her mind honestly. Which i'm glad about; they could be a good couple of artists who should collaborate. I don't think Lorde actually hated Lana. It was more of the attitude of Born to Die, which romanticized sadness + dependency on men. I think she matured and started to listen more to what was behind the facade of the "Lana" character and changed her views accordingly. Some of y'all act like you were the smartest feminists in the world at 15-17. It's a process to learn and grow.
