longtimeman Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Also, that PopMatters #73 might look like a low position, but it comes with a rapturous write-up that ends with From the haunting, reverb-drenched chorus of “Shades of Cool” and the indie rock, reggae-tinged “West Coast”, to the tongue-in-cheek “Money Power Glory”, there is no grand metamorphosis or stark reinvention to be found here, just brilliantly realized, mature songwriting. Ultraviolence is a beautiful argument for her relevance and her potential longevity. 4 Quote
Tammy Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Well, good for Lana, she deserves it ... & Miranda Lambert and her 'Platinum' record which reached #5 @Rolling Stone, too. But what the hell is going on that they didn't anywhere nearly mentioned Neil Diamond's 'Melody Road'? This record has been sold well since its release in October (i.e. #3 @US Billboard Album Charts) as it is f****** awesome and his world tour for 2015 is almost sold out. Disappointing to see they disregard such a legend. http://lanaboards.com/index.php?/topic/5518-post-your-favorite-releases-of-2014/ 0 Quote

Tammy Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 She is the absolute worst. I am glad to see that everything has been working out well for her. Winning awards, selling records and playing sold out shows, all that success she has is absolutely deserved. 0 Quote
prettydrugs Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 She is the absolute worst. Judging someone by the amount of awards they have is pathetic. She's awful. SO HAPPY ABOUT UV, it's my favorite album ever and deserves this 2 Quote let the light in, it's a cruel world
Pensacola Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Means nothing to me personally. I don't know what's worse, her music or her insufferable personality. 1 Quote
