Yes! Just post your ideas and I'll add them to the first post. And I'm taking questionnaires pretty much any time but whenever we start designing the actual stuff it'll kind of be too late at that point. In general the answers have been pretty consistent though so I do think we have the direction we want it to go in figured out. But still feel free to contribute anything you want!

I think we should discuss font options. I don't really have many that are great looking, so if anyone knows any really cool lyric fonts or something.

Also I think we should discuss the format. Do we want to include pictures at all? Because personally I think trying to find an accompanying image for each song would be kind of difficult, and it might make for a hefty booklet.

 

Also this is my 666th post!

 

I think we can figure out something for the pictures. There's hopefully enough in high enough quality to make it work but we'll address it as it comes up.

Yes, I think this is a good idea to keep some unity among the albums. 

 

 

@ I'm really going to do my best with this and not leave you guys hanging. I'll be pretty crazy with my last bit of finals until Tuesday, but after that I'm going to shift my full attention to this project. At the most, the timeline might have to be stretched out but I want a copy of this thing as badly as everyone else and I think it'd be awful to get you guys excited and not deliver.

That's great! I already made a quick design for the back and for the CD. For me palm trees have always been like a symbol of the aka era so I used them here.

But seriously this is why I wanted this to be a community project instead of just my flop self trying to make something first and show it to y'all later. I appreciate you guys' input so much. So many people have been so helpful with getting the tracks, providing suggestions, etc.

It could replace the Lana photos for Smarty or Jump since larger Coney Island pics can easily be found and I am quite fond of that Oh Say You Can See picture. I really hope that we can find a larger one.

Pricing Update: 

I called around and looked online and I have some numbers up to give a very rough estimate of how much these will cost, so those of you who were concerned about that can see and start to get an idea of how much it might be. I even estimated on the higher side so its likely to come down. Shipping costs are very very rough as I didn't look into them much at all, but I'm friends with a girl at UPS so I might see if she can do anything for me. I'm still working on the digipak cost and front cover for the jewel cases (I have decided I am going to do both and you guys are welcome to get one of each). Hoping to have the rest of the costs up soon!

I have no idea     I have a month to figure it out I guess. Any suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated. Only preference is that they not go up on eBay because I don't want random people buying them or for them to get taken down. 

 

 

Also, is there any way to add a poll to this thread? I just need a simple "Are you interested in buying one?" with a "Yes - Jewel", "Yes - Digipak" and "No" (with the option to pick more than one if they want both) so that I can get a more solid count of how many I need to make, because this is going to be a pretty hefty initial investment for me to make and I don't want to end up with a huge amount of extras.
