Pretend 367 Posted October 10, 2015 Virginia Blackmore, better known by her stage name Ginny Blackmore, is a singer and songwriter from Auckland, New Zealand. Blackmore's song Bones has received regular airplay throughout the United States, and also entered the Billboard Music Charts at No. 40 for Adult Pop Songs in March 2013, reached No. 1 on the Official New Zealand Music Chart in July 2013 and was certified 2x Platinum. Blackmore terminated her contract with Epic Records due to creative disagreements and released a collaboration with Australian Idol contestant Stan Walker, Holding You, via Sony Music Entertainment in New Zealand in April 2014. A solo single, Love Me Anyway, followed in January this year with a debut album, Over the Moon, planned for March - after a number of pushbacks, the release was pulled from iTunes with Blackmore citing ongoing recording as the reason for the delay. In October 2015, Blackmore released a new single, Under My Feet, and confirmed that the album was finalised and would be released in the coming months.
