Mother of Pearl gets so much hate here but it's better than some of the final tracks we got IMO.

 

It's got a great instrumental, very deep and resonant. Sounds like water. The lyrics flow nicely too, and her voice is very unstressed and natural. If nothing else, it's very well produced. Wish it got more love.

There's probably enough Portals material tucked away to make some amazing EPs if not an LP or two. I'm just hoping she repeats the K-12+AS formula and adds another transitional EP before her next album(?) including some of the tracks we're all missing.

 

We got Sirens, so it's not off the table to have more of the favorited leaks released in the future.

ngl I really need this album to grow on me and I'm not even saying I don't like it. Death, Void, Tunnel Vision, Færie Soirée, Venus, Light Shower, Battle of the Larynx, The Contortionist, Amulet, Evil, Womb, Powder, Pluto, Sirens... I literally love all of them but somehow something still has not clicked for me and I don't know why :eartha2: 

maybe I need to listen on loop or something

It’s because this album in it’s entirety barely has any substance. I’ve figured that out already soon enough lol

that’s because some of the songs are insufferably long, the production half baked, tons of unnecessary intros and outros, cuestionable lyrics and 0 cohesion. Ur welcome :hooker:

Not Moon Cycle :deadbanana: but yeah, I agree with the rest, mostly about the intros and outros - they would've been better for the film itself, probably the album without that many transitions would be more digestible.

im so grateful english isnt my first language so i can ignore moon cycle's AND spider web cringy lyrics and listen to two portals top songs on replay :hottie:
