She posted on insta about having some country style song on the album, sigh, look, I appreciate her attempt at showcasing an ability to be versatile, but so far we have one pop/rock hybrid track and an rnb disco track.....and now apparently something country. Please don’t be an incohesive mess of an album, please.......

If the live versions are similar to the studio ones then the album surely won't be cohesive. Dynasty, Snakeskin and Tokyo Love Hotel are all very different from each other AND none of them sounds like STFU or CDG

I really fail to see how those songs sound similar to each other. CDG is, as she said herself, a club fashion banger paying homage to the early 2000s dance tracks, Tokyo Love Hotel is like an 80s syntpop inspired version of Cherry and then there's theatrical Dynasty with electric guitars and strings, sounding straight out of an OST of a japanese video game. Completely different worlds imo

Well shes had other video game sounding songs, and Tokyo feels very much an extension of Cherry, they still have a very Rina feel to them.

 

STFU still has elements of her too, but it is the heaviest she’s gone with the rock sound, and if she’s going country with a track too I’m at least hoping it’s merged well with her style of delivery.

I don’t think Dynasty, CDG and Tokyo are that shocking if they’re on the same album, even if they all feature different styles of production.

Her country song is probably something along the lines of Kacey Musgrave's Rainbow I bet, which really is just an acoustic pop song. Doubt it's really yeehaw.

I think it's going to be more along the lines of High Horse? I follow this one guy on twitter who's really close to her and it seemed like he heard the song and was hinting towards this pop-country edgy sound

i played CDG and XS in my car today and my friend said the songs sound cheap. and i think that’s what’s throwing me off this era cause the songs sounds very like diy artist (especially stfu) if that makes sense and the Rina EP sounds like very well produced and these new songs don’t. well that’s all
