i have seen so many posts of people finding "lasso" or some other album/song on google or genius and being like omg guys blah blah blah and the comments r goung like wtf guys!! Its embarrassing how annoyed i get by shit like that ?also when people go online and say "omg guys i cant believe you leaked lasso think of lanas feelings" when the album isnt even finished and probably wont happen like please can people fact check

Lorde subreddit is actually one of the most decent ones, I'm sincerely surprised to see a weird post like that (but also I haven't visited that like since 2022, so probably new younger fans have flooded it)

the Lorde sub is good when something is on the horizon- in between releases all the posts are literally "wHat's yOur fAv mEloDrama sOng", "Lorde songs as Inside Out Characters" and random ass tweets (usually about Melodrama).

There was a post in the alternate subreddit this morning with his sadly put together “manifesto” about the timeline of their relationship. I think it was taken down but I skimmed it beforehand and it was full of poorly written misinformation and a made up timeline of things we really have no knowledge of. What was interesting was that these “fans” had been messaging Jeremy’s most recent ex to try to manufacture a gotcha moment to prove he is a cheater. Anyway, the woman seemed bitter and really about as informed about their relationship as anyone on the internet. She then proceeded to ask them for $5k for more information (made up information) which they didn’t have as they are just “fans” so instead they sent her contact to TMZ so that they could pay her to make things up. It really made me feel angry. They are willing to throw Lana to the wolves because they disagree with her life choice. 

 

Maybe she does need to go full Onika and have a massive take down of toxic fans.

Oh, yeah - 'Off to the Races' the political manifesto! Would a song about murder make it okay to date a serial killer? It's fascinating the mental gymnastic to justify her actions. Politics don't matter? Tell that to the people killed by transphobic policies. this shit had almost 300 upvotes.
