LanaBoards Web App - Available for iOS users!

Hello, everyone! I am very pleased to announce to you all that LanaBoards now has a web app, available for iOS users.

This is something I've been wanting to provide for you all for a long time, and with our recent updates, I was finally able to do so.

Our app is able to be added to your iPhone through your Safari browser and will function just as an app downloaded from the app store, including the option to enable push notifications. With this, you will never miss out on the latest news again, with notifications delivered directly to your iPhone's notification center even when you're not actively browsing the website.

Below will include a guide on how to install the app and enable push notifications.

Installation Guide:

First, navigate to LanaBoards.com through your iPhone's Safari app. Once you have done so, click the share button at the bottom of the screen, click Add to Home Screen, then Add.

 

 

The app will then be added to your iPhone. Next, open the LanaBoards app, log in, and navigate to your account's notification settings by clicking Account --> Account Settings --> Notification Settings.

 

 

Scroll down to the bottom of the notification page, and click "Enable in this browser" under Push. Once this turns green, you can choose which features you would like to recieve push notifications for, including Followed Content, Messenger, Mentions & My Content, and Profile. Now, notifications for LanaBoards will appear in your iPhone's notification center, even when you are not actively browsing the site.
