Lad Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 I still haven't listened to the rest of the record but Salvatore alone shits on the first half for me 4
jazzsingrcultleadr Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 The Blackest Day is sssssssuch a bop. The Cruel World of HM. 24 and Blackest Day sound a little familiar with the runs she does in the chorus. "There's only 24 hours innn aa daaayyy." "Ever since my baby went aaawayyyyy." Also 24 is catchy as hell. 2 twitter. letterboxd.

baddisease Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Ultraviolence > Honeymoon = Born To Die > Paradise >>>>>>>>>> AKA Honeymoon > Ultraviolence > Born to Die >>>>>>>>> AKA (and Sirens/From The End/Young Like Me, if we include those in her discography)
Fusel Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 This was cool af, I love the album! i'm going to sleep now, can't wait to give it a second listen tomorrow! See y'all sistren
Wynwood Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Honeymoon > Ultraviolence > Born to Die >>>>>>>>> AKA (and Sirens/From The End/Young Like Me, if we include those in her discography) i dont even include AKA, i just put so many >>>> just to show how much i dislike it lol, except for Pawn Shop Blues which is my sad bop
queenxsaigon Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Honeymoon is creepy af and amazing all at the same time. Music to Watch Boys To is actually good music to watch boys Terrence Loves You is beautiful ( a tad boring compared to the rest of the album tbh) God Knows I Tried reminds me of a Tarantino movie for some reason High By the Beach is great to flip bitches off with Freak and Art Deco are just sexy af omg Religion is sexy too but a bit more meaningful in the verses Salvatore takes me to a black and white Italian film I don't even have words for TBD really 24 is very Bond Swan Song sounds like a lovely soundtrack And DLMBM is interesting and different but great nonetheless Does that count as my album review 2 Life imitates art
ilovetati Posted September 16, 2015 Author Posted September 16, 2015 Honeymoon > Ultraviolence > AKA > Born to Die >>>>>Paradise Never thought she would make a record better than UV. 3
Constantine Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood is such a good cover I don't get the hate for it 3
JamiDelRey Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Am I the only one that gets circus vibes towards the end of Freak? 3 5.11.14 // 9.20.14 // 6.11.15 // 6.13.15 // 6.14.15 // 1.26.18 // 9.21.19

Constantine Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 The Blackest Day is so so overrated already. Honestly, the chorus ain't that great 2
SuperMegaStan Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 sistren i was literally on a date and i checked LB while this guy was in the bathroom and saw that honeymoon leaked and i straight up wanted to leave so i could download and listen and now i can't find a link... would someone literally save my life and PM me??? AKA Lizzy Grant Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 my mom on honeymoon, "She's so diverse with her albums" "I love every song" and "Salvatore is my favorite" I raised her well 12
writtenxrabbits Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 I'm really digging Religion, The Blackest Day, Swan Song, Salvatore and Art Deco right now. Yesterday I didn't think I'd ever enjoy Swan Song the way I do now, the production is so damn gooooood and I don't give a fuck about the repeating chorus- didn't bother me on Ultraviolence, doesn't bother me now! 1
naachoboy Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 The Blackest Day is so so overrated already. Honestly, the chorus ain't that great is not the chorus, is the deeper part that slays so hard 1
Wynwood Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 my mom on honeymoon, "She's so diverse with her albums" "I love every song" and "Salvatore is my favorite" I raised her well my mom always talks about how she loves what lana wears during concerts and that lana has a doll's face 2
Paperface08 Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 My trinity: Freak, Religion, Salvatore and then there's Art Deco that just wants to get in! But then again these are the songs I've listened to in LQ up to now HQ. This is my first time hearing the other songs. I think the Blackest Day and 24 wll soon pop up there as my favorites too. 1
