  1. I'd love to see that masterpost. Hope it gets to see the light someday

it seems that the poems he has tagged as "a la muse" are the ones inspired by lana: http://disembodiedpoetics.com/category/poetry/a-la-muse-poetry. in this one he refers to her as his "muse"

one of her tweets which is from one of his pieces

this similarity is interesting: in this 2009 piece, he says "my compass points in all directions at once and i follow in pieces. i am true west", which reminded me of the ride monologue and "no moral compass pointing me due north" line

the find that made me say holy shït: in this post, he writes this - '“I hope millions of people read your writing, it’s so damn good.” – Lana Del Rey, Multi-platinum recording artist (Interscope)', and includes this quote on the front cover of the book, which you can buy a copy of if you wanna :hooker:

  2. one of the most dangerous things about trump is that he can say anything, without any factual evidence/that may not even make sense, and all his supporters accept it as gods words

his supporters scare me to death; that lack of thought, that lack of questioning, that total belief in everything he says - no matter how implausible or offensive his statements are. his values are so shockingly racist and misogynistic and xenophobic; the fact that he has supporters (who possibly can't see beyond the fact that he promises to make them richer) suggests that they share his values, and that horrifies me

as someone from the uk, i can only apologise to americans that the racism and the childish retaliation of those from my own country (brexit) were in part responsible for trump's success

  3. "just wanted to log in to do this live stream to share one of my favourite poems by t.s elliot! when people ask me about new music I'm like, god, I'm just not that interested. for me I'm just more interested in, you know, T.S Elliot and Walt Whitman, what's going to happen with our literary possibilities - which is why I'm so happy to announce my new project, a collection of my readings of some iconic 20th century poems xoxo"

  4. You look like a Florida native

"Are you?" I said, at the rate of

Slow molasses from the state of

    Vermont with a Southern drawl

sorry to bump this thread but this line always reminds me of this scene in the office :toofunny:
