Now I Don’t Hate California kinda a career highlight. i usually don’t get emotional relief from listening to songs but that song iis having the best time of your life in audio form. i’ve been so anxious lately and that song is so angelic and calm. it literally already has like 100+ plays from me

literally this song is so incredible like- i can't understand how people don't find it one of her best ever?  when fantano put it in his least favorites i was personally hurt!  would honestly love to see her do more lush and dreamy production like it, not to mention that heavenly outro

found this while putting the album into my end of year list- can't find any higher quality versions though

update: a quick google search finds one that's heavily cropped but might be slightly higher quality?  it doesn't look that much better tho (link)

I think cape god is a really great record. I didn't play it a lot but I appreciate it a lot. Like i've said thousand times before, it does feel like the follow up from CLX II (while super sunset does feel like the spiritual sucessor for CLX I)

yeah madame x is one of the clearer allegories for drug addiction and i feel like she outright confirmed it?  if not then it's crystal clear like the whole song is about giving everything to "someone" in exchange for throwing your life away

the way i was expecting replay to be one of the least memorable songs on the album and now it's in my top 10 fav gaga songs easily... she did what she had to do
