  1. For now, the lockdown in Austria will be in effect until the 13th of April, but our chancellor already implied that we shouldn't expect things to be much different than they are now after that date, so an extension of the measures is more than likely. At this point, I doubt universities and schools will reopen at all this semester.

I guess the situation in other European countries will be similar.

It's just the beginning, it sure will also affect the May, at least...

I read an article about Africa today - the forecasts here are concerning. The people there will be at the mercy of coronavirus especially in slums.

  2. It really pisses me off how some celebs out there have acted and I really can't hear their 'stay at home', 'Stay At Home', 'PLEASE STAY AT HOME' anymore.

It's like they have all lost grip on reality.

Wish they would realize as long as bosses / managements say we have to work and they don't close the company yet - particularly if there aren't any regulations that they have to - we can't stay at home, we have jobs to lose.
Especially now find a new one if you lost it!

  3. I love Taylor‘s music! But there is anyway something wrong with her, her persona, her personality...but good for her and her career the truth came out.
I guess people stand in line now to see KKW & KW fall...

  4. I also think it‘s insane to leave most hotels open in Germany. I am a receptionist too. We only may accommodate people who come to us as business travelers, no tourists anymore. Our hotel bar closes at 6pm. We usually allow people who don‘t have a room to use the bar too but not now anymore. Anyway, I am sure that business travelers are even more responsible for spreading the virus than tourists. Supermarkets, drug stores, pharmacies, doctor offices and public transport are still open too. I hope they will close hotels soon in my area.

  5.

Keep yourself and others SAFE and STAY AT HOME as much as possible.

    I would love to!

But: my colleagues and me still have to work. This greed for profit is disgusting! We have to go out, we have to use public transport to get to work, we have to meet clients! Even though our working hours got reduced, some of my colleagues are sick and I still have to work full-time. I am pretty pissed as I have asthma - I am pretty scared to get infected. A normal cold forces me to stay in bed for at least 3 weeks. I really don't want to know what corona could do to my body...

I wish politicians would be a bit faster by enforcing a curfew or putting us in quarantine for a certain time. But right now every German state creates its own rules. Such a mess!

And even if we will beat corona, the problems won't be over, especially financially. I guess prices will drastically increase to compensate all pecuniary losses.

  6. if we're honest this will be gone when summer comes, china has been in this situation since mid-january and they're starting to recover now and most of europe (except italy) has acted pretty fast (even though governments took their time to do so lol) so i don't see summer concerts being cancelled

They cancelled Glastonbury already. Taylor should have been there too in June. I don't see her touring Europe, sorry! I don't see anyone touring Europe this spring or summer...

  7. I don't see any concerts happening at least until summer over here in Europe and I am sure they will cancel her tour here. The coronavirus forecasts are terrible for the next months!

  8. Have been working for a huge European hotel chain and from this week on our working hours will be drastically reduced. As almost everything
closes (restaurants, bars, shops), events, concerts and fairs won't happen in the next weeks, hardly nobody books trips and hotels.
It's also possible we have to completely stay at home for a while. Our management thinks this situation will continue at least until June - September.
As Germany has one of the most comprehensive welfare systems, most of us (talking about colleagues and myself) won't have any financial problems.
The employment agencies will support German enterprises by transferring aid money. Our hotel will pay this money to us at the end of the month.
This way they try to avoid dismissals.
It will be less money of course and people have to tighten the belts but at least we can pay our rent and groceries.
I don't know about other enterprises and other European countries but I hope they will be as lucky as my colleagues and me!
In general I hope this won't cause a financial ruin for people.
The situation is grave and I really can't stand people who still claim the coronavirus is nothing but a media hype or a stupid flu.

Most important thing now is it to stay healthy...
...and positive which isn't always easy. I do workouts at home, reading books, listening to music, drawing portraits.
Things I hardly have time for while working full time.

Hope you are all safe and will stay healthy!
