Ugh.. so I cancelled my preorders on the store lol they amounted to £91.. and made a new account on my other email to use the discount code to get the superfan bundle for £99.. only made sense, all the CDs and cassettes for essentially £8 :oic2:

What’s the code!? It sucks they won’t ship the Super Fan bundle to the US, thinking about getting the CD one though

I want to order but I’m nervous they’re gonna be cheap, hideous pixelated messes like Blue Banisters

the fans who romanticize AKA and say it’s her “best era” even though that was a hard time for her mentally :judgingu4:

bonus points if they take “boarding school” seriously:eek2:

Most pessimistic post of 2023 so far goes to you! Wow. “Boarding School” is very serious & dear to Lana hence the Facebook posts talking about it with one of her friends she actually went to school with & how joyous she was when she performed it live. AKA is undoubtedly on her top 3 best albums list & we wouldn’t even have the Lana we know today without it. Everyone comes from somewhere & the record is a beautiful representation of the life she lived before becoming famous. So what she lived an indulgent life, battled addiction, & experienced tremendous heartbreak…. she still managed to find the silver lining in her circumstance & have fun. It’s really weird to consider loving, appreciating, & even relating to a young girl having a dark story and turning it into something beautiful. Yikes.

Didn’t he steal her computer with the 2nd poetry book on it? :awk:

The way he was lunging at her when she was leaving church was actually terrifying!

This song is so pure and beautiful.

    When her voice soars at

”and the only stars we saw were in the sky not the boulevard and the only thing we wanted was to be free”

it’s like an angel calling from the heavens above

    Should’ve been on Chemtrails!

coupled with 'yeah you might as well accept it':awkney2: I get she meant something along the lines of 'accept your worst days are over, and enjoy your life (instead of waiting for the worst to happen again)' but the first time I heard that line:rip: it's not a bad message at it's heart, it's just written badly

I just find it hard to believe that all those talented songwriters sat there in that session and were like 'yes this can't be misconstrued whatsoever'

I remember playing Enjoy Your Life for my bestie when the album dropped & she goes “accept it!?” in the most horrified voice:thumb3:

Superstar, Human, Life is Strange, & About Love (not an album track- I know) are really the only tracks I despise from the record. There’s tons of sloppy writing scattered throughout the other songs too, but I feel like ADIAML has way worse lyrics in comparison. “You say you’ll ch-change, you say you’ll transfooorrrrm” “the food don’t taste like it’s meant to doooo”, “mystical bitches makin our own sisterhood”, “Like an angel gone to hell, cast the moon under our spell”, & the entire second verse of “Man’s World”… whew.

Speaking the truth through and through.

I still want her to do another song similar to Obsessions. What a debut single!

We had some good times during the EH era Rog! So many memories, the tiny chats were the best- I’d leak multitracks when we’d get up to a certain amount of members, everyone would be so happy & positive.. can’t believe that was a decade ago

  7. TFJ, Electra, & Froot are still untouchable. The fact that she was so ahead of her time & didn’t get any proper label support during both eras & still managed to create 2 iconic records that have remained relevant over a decade later & influenced multiple other artists speaks volumes about her artistic abilities. I feel like she needs to stop over-refining & watering down herself. It’s wild how much better the demo versions of the L+F tracks are compared to the final mixes, especially “You”. I hope she comes back less polished & taps into that grittiness her artistry was bedazzled with at the beginning of her career. A double album with an Electra continuation the way Die Life was originally supposed to be would make her fans so happy.

I like the last album (specially Mushroom Rash) But something in the production is bothering me… like I know Its supposed to sound like that to give the retro feeling but for some reason Its stopping me from enyoing It at full potencial

I mean, It isnt as catchy as some of her unreleased stuff like Emotional, No Sleep to Dream, Chinatown or Stolen Cars

Either way, im sorry for what has happened to the vinyl formar, she must be feeling really bad even if Its not her fault…

The record with Man on the Moon was supposed to be more straightforward pop, after such a big break between records I can see her wanting to do a more hazy, mature, west coast sounding project. I love the poppier stuff too though, a blend of Devil Hides, the darker side of Kicker, & the bright poppier stuff like Chinatown/No Sleep would be ideal for the next album

This entire roll-out has been so weird.....glad my indie exclusive arrived yesterday, I'm not counting on getting my red & blue ones until summer at this point after the 3 month gap between the release & the initial planned vinyl release. Do we know if the black ones are misprinted as well?

  10. I’ll have all 3 records this upcoming week, I’ll let everyone know what the tracklisting is like. I feel like Urban is gonna be the only one with the proper tracklist, ironically I have all of them besides the Urban one en route to me as I type this

Does anyone know when the physical media is going to ship now that it’s been delayed for a while? She talked about it in one of her lives last month, but I don’t remember what she said and I’m too lazy to look for it

Anytime before the upcoming week is over, more than likely Wednesday, Thursday or Friday

  12. Still my favorite. Such a raw, beautiful song. It would be amazing if we got a video of her performing this or Junkie Pride. She hates playing guitar because it messes up her nails but I love it when she does!

It is no longer available in the United States Amazon store; however, it is still available in the UK amazon version. They do ship to the US and I know a few other people who have already had to order it that way.

It’s like $60/$70 with shipping to the US, it’s ridiculous prime doesn’t cover the orders from the UK. Can’t decide to go ahead & order or see if they add more, or buy a Target edition early in case it’s another BB situation :/
