  1. ok guys so i just called this target store (718-637-5005) from the uk and asked if they're gonna be stocking it because i'm in town that day (spinning my web of lies) and after i got transferred to the right department i said the album name and she said ohh the lana album in a tone like she already knew about it and i was convinced she was gonna say they've been sent in or whatever and i was like yes the new one. i then said that i read in a magazine that it's out at the end of the month so just wanted to check you'll have it then as the store around me is getting it in late (lol) and she said yeah no we will have it in don't worry ? progress ladies

edit: i made it clear that i was only gonna be in town that one day (the 26th)

  2. i don't think she's only just finished the album, she said recently something along the lines of how it'd be pointless for her to not talk about what's happening in the world rn. The LFL trailer references the songs and in that she talks about wondering what her contribution would be and in CWIMM she talks about her contribution being as small as hoping. I feel like this won't be on standard LFL as it's done, but she wrote a song she liked in the moment and it was relevant to the times and she wanted to share how she feels to the world, considering music is her own personal outlet. I don't think this song is to be the kind of song Love/LFL is, not a single, just a standalone/deluxe track added last minute (hence the messy production) to express and reflect on the times. i don't think this will be reflective of the album sound or should be treated as such

  4. the release date will not be announced in a magazine made months before. this has never happend. give up

Actually, this happens a lot and has happened in Dazed before. Following the structure of a interview with an artist and then at the end it says '____ is out on _/__/__ on *record label*', it isn't uncommon and I'm sure that's what's going to happen. To many artists it isn't that big of a deal at all for the release date to be announced once the title, cover etc is out, it's just Lana's dragging it out ass being annoying and I'm pretty sure it'll be at the end of the feature

Edit: the interview was done start of the year/end of last year but some of the content in the issue is as fresh as early last month. It's not like because the interview was done a few months ago the article won't be updated with the info as it became finalised eg dates
