  1. So is this album gonna be Chemtrails and Blue Banisters' incestuous love child?
  2. I'm busy finishing up my Lana Sims 4 Legacy Challenge and the Chemtrails generation was supposed to be country-themed but I guess I have to change it up big time now
  3. Not my delusional ass thinking we'd get at least one more MV for Ocean Blvd before we moved onto the next album era
  4. Queen of releasing in my birthday month
  5. It's undeniable that her impact has been colossal this year. But it makes it all the more bittersweet when you realise how much she could advocate for but refuses to speak out. Between her silence on Palestine, her association with people like Matty Healy and Brittany Mahomes, carbon emissions, the 'ethical' billionaire stuff and more, it kinda sucks. Not saying she doesn't deserve Person of the Year or that it should have gone to someone else, but she wields a massive amount of influence, and all she can talk about is drama from 7 years ago? Don't get me wrong, I think Taylor has also done a lot of good in the world, and I've enjoyed getting into some of her music this year. And I don't think it's. necessarily right to hold her up on some kind of moral pedestal, she's a pop singer at the end of the day. And obviously in an ideal world, we'd turn away from celebrities being the mouthpieces on sociopolitical topics.
  6. This video interview genuinely made me smile and giggle like such an idiot
  7. It was lowkey giving Carrie Bradshaw. I'm surprised she didn't throw in an "and I couldn't help but wonder..."
  8. If you were to create playlists based on each colour and their respective symbolism, which songs would you use? For example, I'd put Jealous Guy by John Lennon in my green playlist. It's got a beautiful serene sound and deals with themes of envy.
  9. Lana Del Rey - 14 Lana Del Ray - 9 Lizzy Grant - 12 Lizzie Grant - 9 Lizzi Grant - 8 Lizzy Grant And The Phenomena - 13 May Jailer - 11 Sparkle Jump Rope Queen - 12 Lana Rey Loreen - 9 Lana Rey Del Mar - 11 Queen Of Coney Island - 8 Elizabeth Woolridge Grant - 8
  10. I did not expect to get so emotional. What a beautiful end to their journey together. Bravo, Paul and Ringo. Rest easy, John and George.
  11. Just saw Amy Schumer's latest Instagram post and I genuinely let out a bit of a scream. I don't know what I'm more bewildered by: - Her trying to backtrack on calling all Palestinians rapists - Her trying to say that she didn't grow up privileged and how she's 'self-made' - Her saying that she's "the most successful female comedian of all time" ?????????? - Her implying that people hate her because she's "ugly/fat" and people are just jealous because she's married and they're not - Her, once again, trying to shut down the (proven) accusations that she steals jokes - HOW SHE CENTRES HERSELF INTO A CONVERSATION OF GENOCIDE. 8000 PALESTINIANS KILLED. BUT NO, SHE'S THE REAL VICTIM. Remember that one time she essentially admitted that she raped someone? Google has scrubbed all evidence of it but I remember. She's an evil fucking sadistic cunt.
  12. I love finding unreleased songs that feel like the spiritual successors of Lana's released tracks (or vice versa). These are the A-Side and B-Side duos that I always associate with one another: Body Electric / Serene Queen Ride / Angels Forever, Forever Angels Salvatore / Backfire Ultraviolence / Cult Leader There are definitely more that I can't think of right now, but I'd love to hear everyone else thoughts on it
  13. I never really got into Friends, but he voiced a major role in Fallout: New Vegas. He was so outspoken about being a huge fan of Fallout 3 that he was asked by Bethesda to voice act for the spin-off. I know a lot of people will fondly remember him as Chandler, understandably, but he’ll always be Benny to me. Ring-a-Ding-Ding, Baby!
  14. The problem is that people venerate celebrities and their opinions way too much. It's been fascinating to witness the shock and feelings of betrayal expressed by people when their favs came out in support of Israel. "Not Sarah Paulson!" "Not Florence Pugh!" Like, celebs live comfortably and have little to no incentive to do additional research on geopolitical conflicts. It's just easier for them to jump on bandwagons and share Instagram infographics that make news easily digestible but also far too simplistic. Having been around when Lana first made controversial statements about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in 2018, I'm not too surprised by this. She's a lib through and through. In fact, most 'woke' celebs veer towards centrism rather than leftism on the political compass lol. It's disappointing nonetheless. This is a really good video discussing the current phenomenon.
