I'm going to see her on September 15th - that is if i can find suitable accommodation in Dublin. As harsh as it sounds, hostels disgust me... i don't understand how people can sleep in the same room with 10 other people...

The admins haven't even reached 300 posts yet! Let alone a thousand! :lol: I think admins should get to be 'Queen/King of Coney Island', Gramma, or 'Million Dollar Man' depending on their gender. I can't think of any sequential rank names though!

 

I don't think ranks should go by post count but it should be awarded to people who have helped the community grow or have made quality posts. Like, if someone posted "I like this song" in ten Lana threads and if someone posted in a link pointing us to more information about Lana's releases, then why should the spammer get a better thank than the person who is actually being helpful?

It sounds good, so maybe an award sort of ceremony? XD Where the admins choose who contributes the most?

It's rumoured that she will be attending tonights VMAs. She is nominated for two awards.

The Fan Art section should not be in the main Lana Del Rey section, as that is too subjective for the general Lana Del Rey section. Perhaps it would fit better in the General section.

It would be nice if, with whatever changes are made to better organize the place, things remained unified as Lana Del Rey rather than making a distinction between Lana Del Rey and Lizzy Grant, as that is soon to be, if not already, moot.

It would also be nice if there was an option for people to customize the look/interface of the forum so that a color other than white can be chosen, so as to prevent blindness/suicide.

Yes, a chat section and a media section would be nice. I'd also like to see a place to discuss past shows (perhaps rename "Tour" to "Shows"?) and a designated place to discuss albums as a whole.

 

I don't see the point in having separate "News" and "News Discussion" sections. It seems redundant. I also don't think "Charts and Sales" is important enough to have it's own section.

 

Finally, a feature that I really miss from LDR.FM was a feed near the top right that showed members' recent status updates.

Thanks for you suggestions, we've deleted the 'news' and replaced it with 'lanaboards updates' - we'll keep charts and sales for a while, as it will be updated when her new album drops. Working on both of your mother suggestions.

It's really starting to annoy me that these people release new phones and such like every other minute, it's so hard to keep up with!

Apple isn't like that. The last iPhone to be released was 1 year ago in November - Samsung and such release a new phone every few months
