    thank you ! i could never see her as an opening act for someone. in my opinion she has always had the audience size of filling her own venue since Video Games. 

    and honestly, im still hyped and cant process how Kali Uchis is the opening act for some of the LA to the moon tour dates. i remember JOKINGLY saying to my friend "imagine if Kali opened for Lana". it's such a dream come true!

    13 Beaches is the best song ever off of Lust For Life. don't @ me. the noises added, the piano, the dark sound, her FUCKING VOICE. it brings me to actual tears when i can feel how much she has been dying for something real. a true, iconic, song. 

    btw ladies, i had this thought. has Lana ever been an opening act for someone?

     

    never, at least not in her career as Lana Del Rey, maybe in her Lizzy Grant era.

     

     

    Wasn't an opening act, but she did a surprise performance of Prisoner with the Weeknd one time.

     

    Also that concert with Woodkid

    she should probably try to give her OWN proof or give the story from HER perspective like.....

    half of the fans that did "research" were wrong about things too. this is another stupid statement just like her first one.

    sometimes people who get raped by family/close friends still do hang out with their rapists and try to compartmentalize their relationships (until eventually they implode) and i wished i'd seen less of "well why didn't she fight back, push her away, left" and more of "why didn't martinez back off, why can't she seek enthusiastic sexual partners instead - like all of us, why does she pressure and nag people for sex, why doesn't no mean no, why would she have power trips with the people she claims to be friends with" 

     

    There are so many sources about how false rape accusations are rare, it's all good to always critically take in an information but it's not our objective to be the prosecutors and find every way to shut down a victim and disparage them. We should rather make sure to unlearn some of our biases, like teaching guys (and everyone else) that women can be rapists and it's possible to be raped by a girl and it doesn't change how grave this act is, not shaming someone who was raped should be the norm and having an unconventional lifestyle (drugs, being homeless or other) doesn't take away that someone could have been damaged like that. 

     

    I love you too, and i think most of us - at least i said - that obviously there is always a probability of lying and making up a story but the probability of ~~all this situation~~ being real is very very high.

     

    It's sad that we have to repeat ourselves bc people are unable to read.

    I can see that most of you prob never went through a traumatic situation since you aren't able to understand what does "state of shock" means. The last time something really bad happened to me/someone else I wasn't even able to cry or talk at the moment, I was just standing in the middle of the room when "the bad thing" happened.

    She also has a history of nasty behavior, the iconic "excuse me I'm talking" incident (which the way she handled it was not the best but it's debatable whether she was wrong), being rude to Christina on The Voice and disregarding/being rude to fans

     

    some fans felt that they weren't even able to sing during her shows lol

    it's what you're put on when you say/do dumb shit i.e. me spamming ~20 pages of a thread w glitter gifs, it makes it so you can't readily comment on any topics without approval of a mod, so you could 'comment' "the gap toothed bitch is ova!" but it'll never go through or be seen by anybody unless staff approves it to go through, the only sucky part is if they're a few minutes late it won't be added as the most recent, it'll appear whenever you submitted it

     

    in my case during the LfL leaks every comment i posted was like a good 1-2 pages back thus nobody saw it :toofunny: it's definitely NOT fun and NOT worth doing dumb shit to be put under!

    Okay okay okay I've held this in for way too long but "INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY" APPLIES TO A COURT OF LAW   N O T   THE COURT OF PUBLIC OPINION. THE PUBLIC CANNOT CONVICT SOMEONE OF RAPE. ONLY THE COURTS CAN. SCREAMING "INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY" IS USELESS IN THIS CONTEXT. IT'S LIKE SCREAMING "FREE SPEECH" AT YOUR MOM WHEN SHE TELLS YOU THAT YOU CAN'T CURSE. THESE LEGAL STANDARD DON'T APPLY TO EVERYTHING OR EVERYONE IN EVERY CONTEXT. IN ADDITION, "INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY" IS A TACTIC THAT OPPRESSORS USE TO OPPRESS AND SILENCE THEIR VICTIMS.
