We’re back back back again with another rate thread!

The rules are simple, rate EACH track from NFR: out of 1-10. After about a week or so I'll average out all the scores to reveal how each song ranks according to the members of LB.

To make things more interesting, you can give ONE song a 0 and ONE song an 11. Those numbers are to be reserved for when you really love or really hate a song. If you give more than one song either of those scores, your rate won't be counted.

If you'd like you can provide explanations for your rates. Please feel free to discuss with other members in this thread but try not to argue too much

I think the WOTB snippet is about sex. Holding it down in the front essentially means arching your back LMFAO

That’s what I thought too but the other lyrics are like “no ones watching us” is it about sex in public oop

LMAO TRUEEE i hadn't noticed this at all but same- Probably some lyrics from LF too? Lyrics from the snippets of WOTB, The Principal and Detention are... so bad

Like what do the WOTB lyrics mean??? I genuinely can’t tell what that song is about or where it would be in the movie and yeah I agree about Detention and The Principle. LF is okay but I hate that she changed the “cry” lyric to “die” and then explained it meant metaphorically dying?

They’re just so vague and boring I always immediatelt forget them after I listen to the snippet when I almost immediately remembered lines the first time listening to CBB

Can I say I sort of dislike the lyrics so far from the snippets? None of them really make sense or stand out the way lyrics in CBB did, I haven’t remembered any lyrics from the snippets besides Teachers Pet and “for the throat” from Class Fight

I bought a FL&L dress to wear to my concert date and i know Lana has been wearing them nonstop for concert outfits so I'm hoping maybe she'll wear the same one

NOTHING against the peeps who've already listened to the record, but I just can't bring myself to make the first listen in lower quality, so I'll have to wait, but I think everyone's been guesting and waiting for u guys to tease TF outta it NAOOOOOWWW 

 

Listening to this heavenly album in LQ must be such a disservice to the production i remember when william eyelash's album first leaked in LQ i hated it but once it was released and I heard the production in all its HQ glory my opinion drastically changed

I am living for the emotions in her voice, that's something I was desperately missing in LFL. The restrained desperation in The Greatest..she has such a talent for conveying emotion without overdoing it

The Greatest is just so.....beyond anything omg it is heavenly

I love FIILY too but The Greatest ha power, ha flavor, ha influence

I couldn’t be happier for Lana in this era. I vote everyone sends me a Venmo, and we ship her 2 tons of Matcha. She will be more productive on these last minute releases.

Also, the Greatest / FIILY makes me think of a Lana that was in the BTD era but has now become a responsible mature woman who still loves her “crazy” like omg she’s now pouring the drinks instead of mixing biker semen and gasoline for a cocktail!

Honeymoon reminded me of a mature BTD and this era reminds me of a mature Ultraviolence, we love growth!

The tone of this era is pretty melancholy IMO just in a less dramatic way than BTD and UV. But I want Lana to be happy in life so seeing her smiling with friends has been just as satisfying as watching her pout in 2012 was

The snippets all blend together for me too. I’m hoping they each have something unique to bring to the album like the tracks on CBB did.

I have to say I fucking love all the art that she’s posted by pastelae, the Teacher’s Pet one is so cute

Guys use the ticketmaster app, that's how I got mine. I still had to wait in a queue but it moved within 3 minutes

Omg the NY queue is atrocious......... it kicked me out on all but one of my devices

It wouldn't even let me get through on my laptop, the queue only worked on my ticketmaster app??

I wonder how much leaks really effect artists money-wise nowadays, since everyone uses a streaming service anyways and that contributes to streaming charts and profits. I've downloaded some leaks before but I don't go into my google docs to listen to those files when I just have Apple Music.

Obviously it's upsetting to have your material leaked and if it leaks early enough like what happened to LFL that could be bad. But I doubt it really effects their pockets by that much.

With all the new stuff this month I honestly feel like NFR was always slated for this release track but Lana just got excited about MAC and VB and couldn't wait to release them, I don't think she even thought about the fact that we'd be bothered waiting almost a year for the album

I wish there wasn't a pit at Jones Beach, getting concert tickets is always kinda bittersweet bc I'm happy I'm going but lowkey dreading queuing 

Refunding my tickets then omg I contacted support and they said that they’re on sale early because a customer who has like season tickets for the venue got them early and sold them... love being a clown x

That could be true but surely you overpaid anyways, my pit tickets for the last tour were $120 when it was a much bigger venue in Boston. If they're really 300 I would be shocked! They better run you your money

Omg I bought from Stubhub but they have fan protect guarantee? I also paid 300$ for a pit ticket at Jones Beach did I literally get bamboozled I’m so scared this is my first concert ever and I think I jumped too soon and made a mistake...

You probably did because the tickets aren't even released yet....I would contact stubhub

Like i said before its SO IMPORTANT that you only buy from the verified sources that are linked on Lana's site! There are a lot of sites that claim to have official tickets but they're only put up by people listing things which means they could be fake tickets or you could just get scammed. when in doubt only trust ticketmaster! Even their resale tickets are verified by them.

i doubt he has it, and i doubt those are real lyrics. (other than the first line)

Considering I live 20mins by foot away from where the concert is in Paris, I'm even more confused dksjdksjd but that certainly doesn't make me want to live there less. The THINGS I would do to live there. But thank you a lot for answering!

There are so many venues actually IN the city so of course she picked the least convenient one to get to   

 

 

What can I say I read a children book about NYC and I've been obsessed with it ever since it seemed so much BIGGER and modern than France

 

I live in NYC and I'll tell you that the concert is not in the city and is nowhere near it, it's actually at a beach outside of the city in a town called Wantaugh. I will actually have to take an hour long train ride out of the city to get there....if that helps your decision

Only buy from ticketmaster!! Can’t stress this enough. Otherwise there’s no guarantee your tickets are real. For the sale go online at Ticketmaster like 5 minutes early so you can click the button as soon as the clock hits 10.
